That looks great. I agree the darker lamps may be too dark. Perhaps do a very light coat of the color of the tablecloth in the painting. It looks like a light cream color. So talented!!! Thanks for sharing.

Oh and I would actually leave the lamps alone for now. I like the contrast with the moodiness of the still life artwork, which is amazing btw. Maybe just move the taller stone piece in the middle and style with something low profile. Honestly you don’t even have to do that, your place is a vibe!
The painting could be hung at least 6 inches higher. Same distance between ceiling and console. Also that wall should be painted a darker color or wallpapered or grass cloth. The frame.might be a little too harsh gold color, but maybe that is just the video. Overall, looks nice, and yes, lampshades are better.
The lamps just need to be darker because you have three objects simplified you have the painting which has weight is darker and the light shapes of the lamps on either side. There just needs to be something dark about the lamps because the dark area is sort of trapped inbetween two light areas . But you should follow your own intuitive sense as to how the objects work together because it is your expression. Its all good!
It is surprising that so many young people like vintage, ornate frames and older style still life prints. It negates the modern look in the rest of the home. My suggestion is to replace the art piece with something more modern. You should celebrate your birthday to the hilt every year -- it is the only day of the year that is totally about you.
