- The topic of initiation is one of great passion for both Renee and Sandra. For shamanic initiations are how they both got into the spiritual work that they abundantly share in a modern-day culture. Everyone goes through initiations in life from birth, to going through puberty, getting your driver license, graduating school, and the list goes on.

From my perspective, gratitude is the best gift one can give. Thank you helping spirits. Gratitude as a practice is difficult at times. Difficult illnesses sometimes require difficult healings. Thank you for the lessons.

Thank you so much. About 3 years ago as I was waking from sleep I heard a voice say it was time for me to die. Following that message my life came apart. Anxiety, depression, separation from a 14 yr living situation, diagnosed with cancer twice, multiple home moves, and 2 surgeries later nothing is the same, especially physically. I found shamanism in the middle of this journey and it resonated. Every morning now I take the drum and welcome the sun with a song and I end the day in the same way. I offer the earth a cup of tea. I bow to all passing by as they take their own journeys. It all just continues to unfold....
And clearly be reborn each day with the sun.

I feel like I’m going through another initiation these days. As a Jewish woman who practices both Judaism and shamanism, I did a journey yesterday and found myself in a healing lodge. Thanks for sharing this information.

I am grateful to have found you both and have watched a good few videos and bought Winds off Spirit. I am slowly reconnecting to myself after a period off grief as a mother who lost her son 3 years ago. I am recognising a long term link in my heart and soul to nature and shamanism that I’ve probably suppressed over the years thinking I had no right to this knowledge. I look forward to learning from you more and wished I could work with you in person. However I’m in Scotland so not really possible. Thanks for this. I'm going through an initiation right now where I keep passing out, leaving my body, and merging with spirit. I've visited the doctor and had just about every test run and there isn't anything physically wrong. I have to say it's definitely the most frightening time of my life, but I do understand the lessons being taught. I hope I find my path.

Several years ago, when I was training to become a shamanic practitioner and we journeyed for dismemberment, I had the idea that my limbs would be pulled off, so imagine my shock when the guide reached into my chest, ripped out my heart, and threw it into a bonfire! Then he laughed at my shock! I chuckle whenever I think about it. But my heart didn't get replaced. Over the years, I've asked about that, but no answer came... until this year, when I received my new heart. I had a lot of spiritual work to do in order to get this heart; I guess that was a l-o-n-g initiation (I can be quite stubborn). 😅

Life does not have to always be hard.
I don’t know where to turn for a teacher.. I am going through this now but I don’t know if I should do something online vs in person
I wish I could go. It'd be wonderful to have a teacher in person. I've not been able to locate one nearby. It's interesting you mentioned Wind. I'm new to this and a couple nights ago a dark angry wind pushed me down as I was observing people in their home. In the morning I had a bruise. I don't think I was sleeping either becaue I had just woken up from another dream.
Perhaps the tempest wind was there to remind you not to be peering into other peoples home?

I was told once by a dream expert, we are all the aspects of our dream, including in this case the Angry Wind. @@reneemorse5593
Perhaps a karmic memory? Maybe ask yourself what it could symbolize for you and journey to ask your guides or the wind spirit what it meant.
