I was the manager of the Hall Galleries at our local Department Store (Steigers Inc,) .I was in charge of Dept 56 at Christmas time. We did Great villages to show all the special styles and periods you could do! This beats use by a mile . Wonderful!💫

growing up, my mom had a set up like this. I'd say it was about 3/4 the size. I used to sit for hours and daydream while I looked at it. She actually had recorded street noise and what sounded like a community of elves talking. Not too loud, but just enough to make it sound like the village was alive. So cool. Thanks for bringing that memory back to me! nice work!

Very nice! Love the details and effort you put in to it. Some of the houses and trees are a little to flashy for my taste but i love the scale and the difrent levels you build on. Great stuff! I will be building my village next week and always watch other peoples work to get in to the mood. Tnx!
The best I've seen so far. I wonder what it would look like under a blue light? The cold of winter? Screw it up? I would try it with some type of diffuser & without just to see.
This is truly amazing! Do you only use Lemax or mix things throughout? And you should make videos for the 3 months of you setting it up! I think that would be a great experience for people to watch!

Thanks. It takes us 3 months to build everything up and 1 weekend to tear it down.We try to build a somewhat different village every year,
