I love that this audio tells us so much about Isaac without explicitly stating it. Like he’s become so comfortable and safe around the listener enough to share photos from his childhood, retelling stories and such, and that he’s accepted his feelings for them enough for him to tease them and be stubborn when it comes to looking after them. And the fact that he’s willing to try new things just for the listeners sake, like at the beginning of the series he refused to eat breakfast but now he’s going out of his way to search up and review waffle recipes and make them in the afternoon just so the listener could wake up to something good after the nightmare they had that clearly mortified them. it makes me think that he takes so much after his mother more than what’s led on to believe, like he’s taking on behaviors he describes his mother to have, a teasing nature and a gentle love for those he cares about that’s strong enough for him to fight or jump into action to protect them. and I love that it’s sort of hinted that Isaac probably has Japanese roots of some sort, probably on his mothers side on the account he’s said she has made a yukata and had her own gyoza recipe, like it’s such a fine detail but it speaks volumes on the authenticity of his character outside of where he sits in the sakuverse lore. he’s definitely my fave character and he’s so masterfully created thank you so much for this wonderful addition Saku 🫶 i’m so excited to see where this series heads
