As someone who has done quite a lot of competitive dog obedience showing, I can say that this is a very impressive performance. It is obvious that this Malinois absolutely loves this young lady and is eager to do whatever is asked of him.
I cannot watch this enough. I will just find myself humming this tune and thinking about this performance. It is so well done. Kudos to the trainer and of course to the dog.

The dogs that you are used to seeing dance and stand on their hind legs is called freestyle. ^.^ I know some of these competitions to other's can be considered boring. But try to have a more open mind to this profession and look more into depth of it before commenting.

I've lived a long time...I've got tons of interests and friends...I've had lots of varied and interesting experiences....I've learned a LOT because I've been "paying attention" to every minute of my life. Yup....I'm in my fifities....and I know shit!! LOL I'VE BEEN PAYING ATTENTION TO IT ALL. LASTLY: I agree about the music...not my taste...but it didn't occur to me to complain about it. EVEN MORE IMPORTANTLY: The two dogs you mentioned were not in direct competition with each other: they were in completely seperate judging groups.....and the judges were considering different skills and capabilities. What was amazing was the dogs steps were completely synchronized in time and space to the owners.
