Ringo won this the first two rounds, not sure what the judges saw or what I missed about t-flex. He has good musicality, but so does Ringo; he seemed outclassed and stiff.
I agree his footwork was pretty good. Maybe I just don't like his style. I'm more into smoothness and as I said, he seemed stiff. Maybe I'll watch it a third time. The second time I watched he improved on me some.
I get what your saying. He has better muscle control which makes his hits a lot more cleaner and ringo tends to be off beat at times since it takes more effort for her to hit as hard as she does. She was more creative in her dance but T'Flex has better popping foundation in my opinion.
also its walid, his judging skills have been debated for a good while now. some think if u straight kill the beat clean as a motherfucker, and another guy is sloppier but more aggressive and old school style, the beat killer will lose despite 80% of viewers thinking he clearly won. but always watch carefully cus it could be he never got off beat and she did, or hes just cleaner etc, lots of things. kinda wish judges had to give like a 1 sentence reason somtimes to get some insight
It’s an opinion but I felt Ringo Winbee did amazing performance. She’s getting better and better. As for killing the beat she hits intricate rhythms which is not easy to do and even the judges may miss it and has great creativity. T’Flex is a strong dancer and perhaps less creative than Ringo with her triple pops. I thought he was doing more old school but she’s look like the winner to me. At the end of the day it’s about great dancing…except the winner/runner up’s get a check!
