did you turn your steering wheel? As long as you keep the steering wheel of your VW fixed in a straight position at all times, the car will work according to the expected test results. Any attempt to use the car as a daily vehicle under realistic conditions is at your own risk.
Domelio 1 I can't agree! DSG 7 really works flawsly when there's no problems, but a gearbox (or everything else) has to be prepared to go through various type of uses. The tests of golf above prove this theory... The fact of DSG being so fragile (and not necessary cheap), front a conventional AT, proves that is a technology for market nich (Sportcars) and not a general use! ZF news Advanced Gearboxes thanks
well it depends on which DSG are you talking about are you talking about the dry clutch DSG or are you talking about the wet clutch DSG? The wet clutch DSG is pretty bulletproof it's a little clunky but it's pretty bulletproof the dry clutch well that's a whole other story 🙄
All these tests and it's a pity they didn't check for water leaking through rear windows into cabin via faulty door speaker seals. Resulting in soaking carpets and underlay which are a nightmare to replace........................
Leaking water into the cabin depends on each particular car through some weak spot where 99,99% cars of that models sealed good. I also had to fixed by myself water leaking water into the luggage area through rear light but on old mk4 golf. Water leaking into the older cars isn't so rare, if your car was new you have warranty.
