The abandoned cabin and dilapidated farmhouse were incredibly creepy settings. The mysterious figures spotted at both places after recent activity really sends shivers down your spine. Makes you wonder what sinister secrets were lurking inside those deserted buildings. Leaves just enough to the imagination - great horror storytelling!

Yes…I’ve always felt that retired cops whom still have that passion for upholding the law, innate goodness and professionalism could be Law School Lecturers and Professors as they’ve had so much experience to pass on many quality cop skills!
Good cops are forever treasured.
I have seen headstones 🪦 of GOOD COPS who were outstanding citizens also and it’s amazing the praises and accolades mentioned!
Bad cops either earn notoriety for being bad or are totally forgotten and hated, even on their gravestones. I know which I will be, do you?
Retired police could also be much better at responding to 911 calls…so much expertise and understanding through experience. ✌️🤓👍

1st story, the smell was most likely a body or multiple. An abandoned cabin in the woods would be a perfect hiding place for a serial killer. You don't burn a cabin down unless what's inside could end your life as you know it.
Be careful around old houses. You may find an open abandoned well.

Yeah, unfortunately many PDs are sloppy and don't investigate as they should. Hopefully this wasn't the case and they did ruled it out.
In the last story maybe it was Sam and Dean Winchester either held up in the old farmhouse or investigating something Supernatural😁👻💀👺

use to be a detective in Wisconsin working missing persons. I say use to be because the story I’m sharing scared me so much that I had to file for a transfer due to anxiety and post traumatic stress. My partner who I will call Jeff and I were working on a case involving a missing teenage girl who was last seen at a known stash house and then in the woods behind it. Inside those woods is an old hiking and jogging track but being the area it’s in, the shady part of town it goes through, it rarely gets usage. However we got a call that someone living nearby was reporting light coming from the woods at the earliest hours of the morning, practically still overnight, about 3:30-4:30am. The person registering the concern said it was happening over the course of the entire weekend and days to follow and we decided that we would go check it out thst Wednesday. But the reason we were intrigued specifically was because the person reporting said he thought that he saw that missing girl running in the woods when he himself went to go inspect it, only to run deeper in when she noticed him calling out to her. So our plan was to go inspect the situation at 3am with two local officers, 4 of us in total. We chose the southern part of the hiking trail to enter the woods knowing where we need to get to from the report, it was about a 2 mile walk. Upon quietly and slowly walking the trail the first mile was uneventful, but once we got a mile in, there was just a putrid smell of something-possibly a rotting dead animal, or worse. A body. It undoubtedly was the smell of death so the one of the officer called it in as we pressed on. As we wrapped and turned around thick brush, bushes, birch trees, tall grass and weeds and fallen trees, in contrast to the pitch black sky and glow of our flashlights, we began to see something bright ahead probably about 100 yards or so. The officer called for dogs as we decided to stay out for a moment and assess things. We didn’t know what we were about to walk in on but didn’t not want to be outnumbered. Jeff had the idea to call for a drone to get video but we were concerned it would alert whoever it was to our presence and they might run off. We realized we needed to cut the flash lights and go in as quiet as can be as we approached closer. In our mind chances are it’s just a tent city of homeless people or maybe someone camping for all we knew. Little did we know what we would see. We got closer and closer and it came to a point where we needed to walk uphill as we can see the light but couldn’t see the grounds under it. This would mean either staying on the path and likely be seen coming or having to essentially crawl climb up the side of the hill which seemed like the way to go. It’s so hard to remain silent when you need to be silent. Literally every step would mean leaves crushing under your feet, sticks breaking, branches being pushed aside. But we were only a matter of feet away from the top and seeing whatever was on this horizon. We ascended together and all stopped in silence and fear as the four of us caught just a second of a glimpse of the source of all this. Standing around a camp fire was one man in a red robe and hood with a goat mask over his face. He had to be over 7’ tall, and oddly thin, but just so tall it was all I could look at for a second, and next to him, a man in a black robe, wearing a goat mask but grey vs white, also close to 7’ tall. In front of them, a man with a deer mask dressed like royalty and a woman with blonde flowing hair in a wedding gown, wearing a mask that can only be described as a broken porcelain doll. The second officer yelled for them to freeze but before he could even finish, a giant, 60 x 50 foot camouflage tarp covered in vines and brush fell and unraveled from the trees above. In the brief mement a saw a man in another black hooded robe pull a rope that made it drop. I guess none of us know how to react because my partner and I just stood there frozen and the other two officers tried to advance. But when they made their way around the side of this giant tarp, all they could see were a few men in black robes running deeper into the woods. All the masks and robes worn by the 4 people we saw were left on the ground stripped off before they ran, the fire left to burn.
Now you wonder how I can remember all of what I saw so vividly? I can’t. We went back to the precinct later and reviewed body cam footage from the officers. That’s when we were horrified to see that behind those 4 people was an entire audience of people who’s faces are just too blurry sitting in chairs serving as witnesses to the event. We counted and there were 30 chairs, lined up in 5 rows of 6. The body can footage shows all 4 people avert their glance our way and then the woman points and before we could react, the giant tarp was falling.
What we managed to figure out is they we likely walked in on some sort of weird ceremony, many have said a wedding, and we were able to get saliva and hair samples off all of the masks and clothes. No the woman’s hair didn’t match the missing girl. But it also didn’t match anyone in the database, no one did. The only thing we figured out was the possible entnicities of the 4 people but none of that really mattered. Ultimately all we were left with was a very bizarre story, eerie body cam footage, and a mental image I can’t get out of my head. Many say it doesn’t sound so bad but what I left out is this. When I made eye contact with the tall man in the black robe, the one wearing the grey mask, I swear to you, the eyes on the mask glowed red. and all I could think in my mind were visions of my wife and children slaughtered in my own home. It honestly felt like he was putting the thoughts into my head. I almost felt like I could see the images in front of me in his eyes as they glowed- it’s almost impossible to explain.
This is why I needed to transfer out. they thought I was going crazy but I have explained it so many times and no one can rationalize my fears, but when I saw those eyes glow red, I don’t believe in things like the paranormal or supernatural, but I just know it was not a normal person looking at me and I knew I was being told this is my one and only chance to step back and never return to this area again. Me personally.
It’s the reason I didn’t follow the other two officers in around that giant tarp. My partner even said I looked like I was frozen in fear and had to snap me out of it. And he went on report and told our superiors the only thing I said when he asked what’s wrong is “did you see it’s eyes?”
One more thing I left out. They inspected all the clothes and the masks dropped by the people we saw. None of the masks had any built in LED lights. There were no flashlights left on the ground. And there is no modern technology that can project my own family’s likeness in front of those glowing eyes. Again, I know it’s all insane, I know many think - anyway that’s what happened to me. I’m much happier now

Vote for the armadillo, it’s the only way to get wolf armor so many have longed for, gives a new purpose to scute items possibly allowing for more forms of armor and possibly tools/weapons. We already have horse armor, if wolf armor were to be introduced it could kickstart an enchantment system rework. Including things like enchantments for horses, like swiftness, jump boost; wolves may get extra health, defense, and thorns. I like horror stories
