Freakin' love this game. Have put in over 420 hours into it so far and always find myself coming back to it every now and again. Sucks that the game was abandoned as there is no other game quite like it.
I think expansive worlds should creat a game like this( primal with extinct animal) with the hunter call of the wild graphics and capabilities Who is agree with me ?????

To kill a T-REX, you need either 12gauge Slug or 700 Nitro Express. Cause it didn't penetrate thru other side. It just penetrate the bones and the bullet stops at vital organs like brain or heart. The .50 BMG is suitable for Triceratops. Aim at their forehead, liver, side or neck and they be dead and with 100% intergity Played this game with 800 hours. It was fun with friends.
I say it's time for a new hunter game soon and then they should add special themed DLC maps for dinos, mythical creatures and maybe experiments gone wrong type of creatures.

The 50cal. scopes are bugged. Ever since they patched the game a couple years ago after it was down it has done that. The scope is pretty much worthless at this point. Sometimes if you aim into the sky it wont do that. Some times you can get lucky and only 1 quarter of the scope will do that. Scopes are honestly useless for the primal because you are close quarters the whole fight. 50 cal shreds integrity on anything... try aiming for the heart. An adult rex can be dropped with 1 heart shot from a 50 cal. The primal can be killed by anything as long as you have the ammo and the time. Takes 2 or 3 guys to bow it to death in 15 min. The 50 cal will even chew up integrity on a primal. ;) great video!
I have played this game for years and bought it on steam while it was stll a alpha version. I killed hundreds of rexes by my own and almost a thousand raptors and killed lots of queen rexes too. But for queen rexes i always was sitting on a wall in a base near the swamps on the north west coast before i summoned the queen rex. The rex cant kill you then😊, its a bug. Raptors and rexes looked much better before the final update tho. Btw never run if you dont know if you are fully safe, especialy in the forest because there can be awaiting lots of unexpected suprises like 2 or 3 rexes at one spot or 2 or more big groups of raptors.

Unless they have changed the game since I last played it and I stopped playing it when they abandoned it. You can take down a racks with one shot for my 700 you just have to hit it in the heart. The heart is the weakest point on every dinosaur in this game besides getting a brain shot but a heart shot is way easier
Never played this but, 1:43 a Kriss Vector (Ushally chambered in the small but semi-powerful 45. ACP) chambered in a 5.56? I both hate it and want to actually see that irl.
You need 100 hits of normal cal rounds to kill a primal rex. I guess if you use higher cal rounds it is less hits. But either way the numbers are up there.
I really wish the Devs haven't dropped this game. It had *SO MUCH* potential as a game...
