Watching the game in Athens I could only imagine the atmosphere at Velodrome, I lowkey became a Marseille fan.
As a Pana supporter it was a torture to watch, especially the first half, a true nightmare, but we showed heart and fought till the end.
Also luck was on our side, but that's the beauty of football.

To be fair Marseille was really good on this match . Great quality superb players and skill but panathinaikos is a stronger group . These players work together almost 3 years now . Panathinaikos fan here, it was a really tough game for us , Olympique Marseille still a team with so much quality and the score would be 3-4 goals more but a few mistakes from the coach and loss of focus at the second half were more than enough to allow Pana to claim the qualify at the overtime penalties . For us in Greece was a miracle in nightmare with our goalkeeper at his best apperance in the team , a very good team of Marseille in the beautifull huge Velodrome stadium . Bonne nuit!
