Came for the Muse and stayed for the muse behind the keys. Let's be honest: Lisa, your playing and ear is what showcases the versatility of this instrument.
Who else recognized Lisa behind the keys by the way she was flying through the keyboard? (Without reading the description) Thank you Lisa, love your work 🫡🙏🏻
Why does it matter what it is? Shouldn't the best get the job regardless? I really enjoyed that demo. I am working on a new bank for my Super Jupiter and it gave some new ideas.
What a great demonstration of this synth! Am I the only one who thinks Drums from The Grateful Dead / Dead & Co was the inspiration behind the “Behemoth Drums” patch. Sold!
The "Shining On" patch is murder. Lisa Bella Donna killed on this patch (Well the whole thing). She gave Earth Wind & Fire and Funkadelic vibes with it. This thing is selling itself--of course Bella Donna helps 😃 🔥🔥
I feel the same. For some time, I’ve wanted a Matriarch because it has that classic 20th century Moog character. The Muse has it, hands down, and it’s a poly. I come from the days when all synths were monophonic. Ergo, I have no desire to buy another.
I have a Moog One too plus a Matriarch but this is really desirable and has such a natural raw fantastic sound. It’ll be even better through a H 90 or cxm too.
Listening to the Muse here, it seems the Moog One has more variety in its sound palette. I demo'd a Moog One 16 voice only for 10 minutes and thought it was more of an all around synth than what I am hearing here in this Muse patch demo. What do you think compared to your Moog One?
A very, very fine instrument, if you can afford it. Perhaps the point is; how can you not afford one. Dream are made of this ! Well done Moog Bravo ! 👏
They're an abundance of synths out there that can match the sounds without paying the asking price. It's shines, nice looking, nice presets Moog matriarch can beat it out any time cause it's analog. That's just one synth. It's all about choice. Over 3k for presets? pls . nope.
VOX HUMANA!!!! My god I want this thing for that setting alone! What a beautiful synth! Bottom Bassics is pretty cool. This thing can make all the sounds I have wanted for years.
Something about its design (those little sliders, the knobs, the lights), something about its sound, is so beautiful and inspiring. Muse is the PERFECT name for this beauty. Definitely a dream synth!
Dear Lisa, you 're giving us again .. the most musical demonstration of this wonderful beast. :D Had you been involved into the production-process to build up this wonderful instrument? Finally I can say, this instrument finally lives up to its royal name again (!) The soft orchestra is amazing.. :D
Nice (and appropriate) playing to highlight the patches (and patch names). Never pulled the trigger on the Moog One, though I was tempted multiple times (that was just TOO much money to pay for a synth that had a number of issues on release), but for this, I might just hold my breath and take a shot. Thanks for the post!
I see this king as a monster for creating sound beds for television and film projects. This sounds wonderful. Trying to decide between this machine and Roland Fantom 7. For me, it depends on which machine is more versitile.
Very seriously considering selling some vintage Roland gear to acquire this thing. The delay and voice spread is beautiful. Voice panning too. Sounds delicate in one moment, then nasty as hell the next. Love it. Synths that surprise are my fav. I dig the Subdivided sound. I love Geddy Lee's synth work from that era.
I have a Moog One and Matriarch, but surely do recommend those who want a Moog poly to get a Muse if a One is oout of their budget. It is a nice synth.
Now I definitely hear the difference between one and muse! Thank u 😉 it’s like muse totally aggressive than one but it still missing the depth that one have..
Really impressed with this one. If I didn’t recently purchase the OBX8, I definitely would have considered the Muse to pair with my Sub 37. Awesome playing by Lisa as usual. My favorite preset was Harmonium.
Sounds amazing! I heard you had Jexus as one of the sound designers, that guy is the OG of synth patches. Love the sounds coming out of this, Think maybe getting 2 of these is next :)
This synth sounds freakin’ great. Nice job!! And hooray, sliders for the envelopes! Far superior to using knobs; for quick control, and easy-to-read at a glance.
This keyboard sounds amazing. Hopefully i'll own a moog one day. I'm a skater, videographer, and music producer. I love the 70s synths. Sounds like a prophet but a little different. If you guys ever want to collab on a skate music project, count me in 🔥🔥🔥
Beautiful beast. Sci-fi pornopera. So sexy, like my GM, but this synth is... ah! Some patches sound like vintage Korg, some of them pure Moog. I'm speechless. Congrats for this beauty!
I'm seriously considering buying a used OB-X8 keyboard... Or the Muse. I swear, when I listen to other analog poly synths that I've been considering (Trigon 6, Prophet 5 Rev 4, OB-6), the OB-X8 makes them all sound kinda one dimensional. The Muse though, it's got real character and a dimensional sound, much like the OB-X8. The Muse has so many more sound sculpting features plus chord modes, a sequencer and that really nice diffusion delay. Great demo!
It seems you can get those vintage pads sounds as well as string sounds. Was a bit worried that it may be an only one sound type of synth. But so far you can get that Moog sound as well as to venture into some jup 8 and prophet sounds. Yes I know it only have ladder filters but seems to be pulling off some other sounds from past synths. Will like to hear more FM sounds.
This music makes the presets sound at their best, thank you to the composers. By the way, is that Jean Bendick's Electronics for Boys and Girls on the desk?
Let us know your favorite patch below!
Tine Drip😀Moog Pro Solo😃Posession Heavy🙃Computer 1973😃
70s electro - so cool
Discreet One, Tine Drip, Aegean Organ, Mirror Interior, Partial Heaven. :)
all of them? :D
BUT the Guilded pyramid gave me original TRON soundtrack vibes
16:10 '70s EP. lots of great patches in there. well done!
Came for the Muse and stayed for the muse behind the keys.
Let's be honest: Lisa, your playing and ear is what showcases the versatility of this instrument.
Who else recognized Lisa behind the keys by the way she was flying through the keyboard? (Without reading the description) Thank you Lisa, love your work 🫡🙏🏻
I think the nail polish was the give away ;) But agreed, she is brilliant. 2 on my list... The Muse and the Polybute 12. Both Complementary imho.
Same here - I could tell it was Lisa after about 10 seconds or so. She's AWESOME!
Exactly, she moves in mystical ways, with a lot of feeling, and some kind of deference for the sound. Tasteful artist, really.
Lol it was the fingers themselves before she even started!
Why does it matter what it is? Shouldn't the best get the job regardless?
I really enjoyed that demo. I am working on a new bank for my Super Jupiter and it gave some new ideas.
This is the best presentation of the New Moog Mouse I have ever seen. Great job my lady.
Even before we get to the sound, Moog you absolutely nailed it on the looks department , it's gorgeous, sounds awesome as well
Many thanks!
Finally a synth that look like a real instrument and not like a toy (wood helps)
Lisa never seems to run out of ideas. It’s amazing and inspiring.
She IS the MUSE of Moog!!!
What a great time to be alive!!!!
This synth is without a doubt the best release from any manufacturer in the last 5 years i would say. I freaking love it and i want one so badly.
We appreciate the kind words!
Queen of the musical instruments is back, brilliant and moving. Really wish for a desktop module including the seq and arp!🎉
Incredible! I cant stop listening to this demo. Thank you once again Lisa Bella Donna for every note!🎶🧮🌈🌈💜💙💚💛🧡❤🤎🖤🤍🌈🌈
This seems like it will become a staple and classic synth of all times
Every time I listen to demos of new synths, I try to see if they make THESE sounds. Until now, I have been disappointed. This is so Moog and so great.
Absolutely stunning! Really nailed that unstable, yet musical feeling we all love about classic 80s poly synths. A living, breathing instrument!
Loved all the sounds, for someone who doesn't own any synths this might be the one I always dreamed of
Got mine this past Friday, and love it. Great synth for my music
Much love 🙏🏼💜
Here comes Lisa with the magic hands and touch!
Fantastic demonstration Lisa, your playing of the patches really sells this synth.
Outstanding demo of an outstanding instrument. Moog's best yet ...
What a great demonstration of this synth! Am I the only one who thinks Drums from The Grateful Dead / Dead & Co was the inspiration behind the “Behemoth Drums” patch. Sold!
All of them, all the patches are our favorites.
Oh this synth is a thing of beauty and Lisa can make this synth shine. I purchased this synth and it should arrive next month.
Fantaaaaastic demo. wow. Hinamatsu Tines, Soft Orchestra, Lonely Parrot, so many genius and unique patches showcased here!
The "Shining On" patch is murder. Lisa Bella Donna killed on this patch (Well the whole thing). She gave Earth Wind & Fire and Funkadelic vibes with it. This thing is selling itself--of course Bella Donna helps 😃 🔥🔥
this thing sounds incredible. I love my Moog One and you'd think that would be the end-all but hearing this makes me want it too
I feel the same. For some time, I’ve wanted a Matriarch because it has that classic 20th century Moog character. The Muse has it, hands down, and it’s a poly. I come from the days when all synths were monophonic. Ergo, I have no desire to buy another.

@@downpatmusicMoog One has 16 voices to begin with… a third envelope, three layers… it’s More synth.
Magnificent. The sounds are really well programmed for immediacy and played so beautifully by Lisa. True mastery 🙏🏻
amazing demo. crazy machine. could listen to this on repeat. I did, I listened on repeat.
This is the Polysynth I have been waiting for. It was made for me.
A very, very fine instrument, if you can afford it. Perhaps the point is; how can you not afford one. Dream are made of this ! Well done Moog Bravo ! 👏
Thanks for the support!

Moog matriarch can beat it out any time cause it's analog. That's just one synth.
It's all about choice.

Man oh man this is something special
Radical. Best sounding factory presets on any polysynth of the last 10 years!
i agree, certainly better presets than p6, moog one..
Based
Wow. This synth sounds amazing.
Lisa Bella, la BARONNE des synthétiseurs ! ❤️❤️❤️💐
Make Lisa the face of Moog. She beyond deserves the recognition. We all love her!
Dear Lisa,
you 're giving us again .. the most musical demonstration of this wonderful beast. :D
Had you been involved into the production-process to build up this wonderful instrument?
Finally I can say, this instrument finally lives up to its royal name again (!)
The soft orchestra is amazing.. :D
What an INCREDIBLE synth and synthesist!
Lisa, you are Moog-nificent. You are magical.
Thank you LBD for revealing the AT aspects.
Anyone else cancel their family vacation and order one of these after watching this video. This is like if a Jupiter-8 and a CS-80 had a baby!! 🔥
YOU NAILED IT!!!
Must have. Sounds fantastic in my headphones.
Great sound design and great playing!

Never pulled the trigger on the Moog One, though I was tempted multiple times (that was just TOO much money to pay for a synth that had a number of issues on release), but for this, I might just hold my breath and take a shot. This will be a fantastic synth for live improv.
Moog is without doubt the pioneer we all want. The Muse is essential. The elephant in the room recently is clear.... However, Vox Humana.
I see this king as a monster for creating sound beds for television and film projects. This sounds wonderful. Trying to decide between this machine and Roland Fantom 7. For me, it depends on which machine is more versitile.
By far the best moog to come out since the Sub 37 imo. Finally a true poly offering that we can actually afford and one that sounds as it should!
damn oblique flights sounds so comforting
Most adorable polysynth actually and a good player btw. Take my money!
The Metal presets are stunning. This is one of the greatest Moog synths ever in my opinion.
Lisa is literally queen of synthesis!!!
*grovels at her godly toes*
Thanks for always being an inspiration to me and my music Lisa!
💜💜🙏🏼🙏🏼
Very seriously considering selling some vintage Roland gear to acquire this thing. The delay and voice spread is beautiful. Voice panning too. Sounds delicate in one moment, then nasty as hell the next. Love it. Synths that surprise are my fav.
I dig the Subdivided sound. I love Geddy Lee's synth work from that era.
Love it. I'm getting a nice Wang Chung' "To Live and Die in LA." vibe from Sepulveda Drive.
When I think of modern Moog, I think of Lisa!! The Voyager ---> Muse evolution is also an interesting way to refresh the legacy. Good job, everyone.
These are some of the best sounding presets I’ve heard in a while.
It's about the player and then the georgious instrument 🎉❤
Wonderful Sound Journey of the Muse
I have a Moog One and Matriarch, but surely do recommend those who want a Moog poly to get a Muse if a One is oout of their budget. It is a nice synth.
completely amazed by this fantastic instrument !!! wonderful instrument et play !!! Moog rules !! 😍
Brilliant ! I received my Subsequent 37 3 weeks ago. But this one seems to be the definitive thing to play
Gorgeous looking too.
I wish we had more moog music in this world. Synthesized music these days doesn't have the same feeling.
Sounds beautiful!
Now I definitely hear the difference between one and muse! Thank u 😉
it’s like muse totally aggressive than one but it still missing the depth that one have..
More like the Moog and the Muse 👏 Absolute legend
The basic analog tone and incredible flexibility of the Muse is, I believe, unparalleled!
Really impressed with this one. If I didn’t recently purchase the OBX8, I definitely would have considered the Muse to pair with my Sub 37. Awesome playing by Lisa as usual. My favorite preset was Harmonium.
Expected to not like this but it actually rules. Legit tines on an analog is no joke to me
😮Sounds absolutely fantastic.
Amazing sound machine
Incredible sounds ❤
❤❤❤❤ so fantastic! Can’t wait to get one!
Wow!!! This reminds me of my UB-Xa, and they would be an excellent complement.
Far superior to using knobs; for quick control, and easy-to-read at a glance.
i think this is the best they ve released from the past few years it sounds bananas
I love it. It doesn’t beat the Matriarch/Grandmo. But kinda apples/oranges.
@@sub-jec-tiv So if you were offered a free Muse or Matriarch, you'd take the latter?
Beau synthétiseur et superbes sonorités..🎶🎹😍👍
I've always wanted another poly synth to compliment my Prophet 10 rev 4, and THIS IS IT.
You did it, MOOG! Congratulations!
We appreciate the kid words!
Basically, a Boards of Canada machine. Sounds incredible
sounds amazing.
@4:56 minutes .. that bass!!! Raw analog
I think you guys have at last built the polyphonic synth everybody was hoping for after the Minimoog came out.
Sounds great! It's an enormous sound... but I sort of hear some of the more delicate dialed back Prophet tones too... a very interesting time...
28:07 … Finally! I thought we’d never get the Moog Mirror … 😉
It sounds like moog's version of a prophet 5/10 🔥🔥🔥
I think your right there
Like a Moog Prophet with more modulation. Pretty much ideal for me.
one day it will be mine ! great job Moog
Most tasteful presets I have heard in a long time.
I love it...
This keyboard sounds amazing. Hopefully i'll own a moog one day. I'm a skater, videographer, and music producer. I love the 70s synths. Sounds like a prophet but a little different. If you guys ever want to collab on a skate music project, count me in 🔥🔥🔥

Wow this is so fantastic it could be an album release 😮 Amazing musicianship !!

I LOVE MOOG I NEED IT
They only called it the "Moog Muse" because the "Moog Lisa Bella Donna" doesn't quite roll off the tongue
This music makes the presets sound at their best, thank you to the composers.
By the way, is that Jean Bendick's Electronics for Boys and Girls on the desk?
Lots of WOW moments, just WOW!
Sounds great! I wish I could afford one 😮💨.
