- Rohingya news: They’re described by many as the most persecuted people on earth and despite calls for help, the situation seems to be getting worse for Myanmar’s Rohingya population. Over the past two weeks, roughly 150,000 Rohingya Muslims have flooded into neighbouring Bangladesh from the northern Rakhine state after a resurgence of violence between a small Rohingya armed group and the Myanmar military. So what can be done? And who will save the Rohingya?

If ARSA is a terrorist group for fighting their rights then what about AA, TNLA, KIA & ALP fighting for their rights? Why they aren't terrorist for Myanmar regime? We have been undergoing untold sufferings, ethnic cleansing and slow burning Genocide under Myanmar brutal regime since 1948. I think ARSA has the right to fight back for the rights of Rohingya people according to International laws.

@The Stream really good show as always, thank you. This was an informative interview, you had two key figures sitting next to each other and talking to each other, that was cool. I really appreciated Wakar Uddin's word's. He was laying down legitimate truth. Derek was helpful as well with explaining the situation. But Than Lwin Hytun seamed like a sleazy capitalist, changing the subject with no solution questions, wasting time and appearing to take responsibility but really justifying the government's behavior. To me that is very revealing about Myanmar's behavior toward the Rohingya. Uddin said it best they are purposely killing the indigenous people and something needs to be done now to save their lives. This same story seems to be played out over and over all over the world, killing and displacing indigenous peoples.
Side note: someone please tell Anita Schug to stop bleaching. Her melanin is beautiful, a Godly inheritance, and a testament to a Godly lineage.
