Yo imagine the CONTENT. Just OW devs and streamers in a call for hacker spectates, someone pulls out a hammer with BAN written on the side and smashes it on the keyboard and locks their account. If Blizzard was smart they’d do this in a heartbeat. We already have hacker replays let’s take it up a notch.

I remember watching a Flats clip (at least I believe it was him, I could be wrong, so please correct me if I am) where he talked about how Apex's devs have a team dedicated to watching content creator streams and instantly banning anyone the streamer comes across that is definitely cheating. I think something similar with OW team can happen. Like you said, there's plenty of creators watching replays of potential cheaters. All the devs need to do is have a small team dedicated to reviewing those videos/vods so they can ban the cheaters. I'm positive all the creators would even be willing to share the replay codes with the devs on this team so they can have access to it with their software.
For the parts where the 1st cheater was snapping to the Orisa instead of Ana, there are a lot of cheats that will have a setting that will prioritize the CLOSEST person to the cheater, rather than the one they're aiming at. ...I don't cheat, I've just played my fair share of TF2.

Just a quick tip. Go into options during the replay and scroll down, then turn on fine grained speed control. You can turn it down to 0.10x speed to make spotting cheaters even easier.

That would not work in Overwatch. this community has done too many "witch hunts" just using the report system, imagine if they could actively judge if people are hacking or not
I wouldn’t say so from that clip alone. I’ve done this myself. The reason one misses the shot is that they’re firing with the expectation of movement and subsequent aim assist to kick in. When the aim assist doesn’t kick in (combined with potential latency issues), shots like this become easy to miss.
Hear me out: the last player might have JUST been using a trackpad. Probably playing a FTP game on his cheap laptop. Not cheating, but if he was... I mean, like y'all said, homeboy probably needs the leg up.
2nd guy is me when I play snipers in any game but especially splatoon, i miss 90% of my shots but that 10% feels oh so juicy! Also i don't think they're cheating, they're just cracked.
the easiest way to identify hackers is when their general gameplay sucks. They suck at moving, they suck at positioning. They suck at entirety of the game, hence the need to hack
Regarding Uzi (Widow): A lot of these shots look like mine. Tracking just in the general area and the flicking the last bit or flicking entirely. I have a really small mousepad so I have to play on like a bit more than 60 sens. Mouse has 1000 dpi. Idk what my scope sens is right now though. It is important to me to be able to 180 during one jump. That's how I started playing fps to react fastly

I woke up maybe 10 minutes ago (yes I wake up at 14:00) and I agree with third player hacking. Too early to remember what it’s called but some hacked clients will adjust your aim when you shoot and then put it back. Then again, I can’t focus while not awake.
My friend was a widow main on ow1 and he was also incapable of hitting stationary targets, but could hit some pretty sick trick shots sometimes. When we 1v1'd, I would just wait for him to grapple up and wait for him to get in my los lol.
Uzi (the Widow in the first clip) I actually played against a week ago. He was playing as Widow again, and my teammate (Mercy) and I (Ashe) were dumpstering him. He got mad, and he turned on his hacks, but he was still ass. We ended up playing against him the next match too, and we won both the first and second matches. We reported him both times, and idk if he got banned or not.
bro i’ve faced good widows and none of them aim like that person from the 2nd game i dont know what it is, i dont know any of the hacking programs, but i wouldnt be surprised if he had something that helped his tracking a bit. Some of those flicks were way too smooth to be completely legit to me
it's kinda funny whenever i run into hackers in ow2 (which is astonishingly more than ow1). like is this really the game you decided to waste your time cheating in? not to mention the one's who cheat in qp.
funfact: gold guns can decrease the detail of weapons to the point of it being a literal block of gold, so although theyw ere cheating gold guns shouldnt be a factor
Ok actually in the widow match I think there was infact a toggle as a few headshots the mouse justade a B-line to the head in a really weird way. Other times it may have bren his aim but some of these were just too quick of an adjustment. Not instant mind you but it was a fast enough lock on to look believable and also rather strange at the same time.
I’m scared to ever be on these clips even tho I don’t cheat as widow I have weird flicks and for some reason I get better as the game progress. Sometimes I get carried away and I shoot like crazy it also don’t help that I am on controller
in the first clip with the hanzo/widow cheater, the junker queen in his team is also a cheater. ML7 win a game against him and look at the game in replay to see if the queen was cheating and she was. (the video is on his YT channel)
2nd guy was absolutely cheating, just also toggling as was pointed out. You can see at ~6:05 the flicking they do to headshot the Echo was like an upside down U, which is an extremely unnatural movement for someone to do
I think the last guy is just getting lucky with aim assist. They seem to be aiming like a controller player and they’re still missing a shit ton of shots
