- DAY 3 His turn to spend about 30 minutes or more in the box. Quite a bit of rearranging going on, even though there is very little nesting material in the box. He tries to remove a large twig but can't quite get it through the hole. Some 'cleaning' happening as he flies out with a bug and returns quickly. Quite a lot of wing spreading going on - is this checking the box size or spreading the bedding?
