But no I’ve been a subscriber to Jacob for years but never watched anything arcane arcade, but I started listen to your podcast and now I’m all binging your live dnd while I’m at work and watching your amazing legends of Zelda videos which I am not a fan of the game, but you guys are so entertaining that it actually makes me want to play the game.

Here are some issues if you never shutdown your computer: 1. If your computer uses a hard drive (not SSD), then the hard drive is not locked. This can eventually result in either a broken or corrupted hard drive. It's like tossing a still running record player into your backpack. 2. Also, your computer is still running when not shutdown. If you keep your sleeping computer in your backpack or some other enclosure, you risk overheating your computer.
