Kitesurfing Akyaka 2020 - the best kite spot in Turkey for beginners

Low wind cruising in amazing kite spot in the south of Turkey located 2 hour drive from Bodrum airport. Akyaka's season lasts from May till September with thermal winds picking up at 1 pm usually. Bring the big kites though. The wind blows until 6 pm. The spot is remote but all facilities such as showers, restaurant, gear rental, changing room are there. Beware - entrance fee is 8 USD if you kite. The water is super flat near the shore and choppy a bit out but there is enough space to practice freestyle. This place is also one of the best for beginners.
