10:35, that van is tailing that truck way too close. I live in GTA and drive 400 series hwy everyday and that van driver is setting a death trap for him/herself. Yikes!

What’s your thoughts on auto pilot now with the new software?

With Update 9, it's getting more and more solid! The on/off ramps are correct now and the new interface is much better streamlined. Blindspot detection is finally there now, although was never really an issue when using autopilot. I wish autopilot existed on all cars, as driving would be much less stressful and more enjoyable!

So autopilot is adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assist? Wtf. My vw golf has that, although the lane keep assist is way more solid in a Tesla.

TurgBurglar , what I've also found is the steering portion will slow down and speed up as well based on the the curves on the road so that it is safe, like an on ramp for example. The car will also stay driving between the lines without bouncing back and forth like a pinball, and the auto lane change makes changing lanes just a signal change because the sensors will ensure there are no other cars coming into the lane.

The Canadian Tesla 4A Experience that is clearly way more advanced than my golf. Although the adaptive cruise is pretty capable in my golf. Re, the auto lane change in the model x, I realize your car can can see next to you, and not change lanes into another vehicle, however, the lack of a rear facing radar leaves me concerned that it might change lanes in front of a vehicle which is rapidly gaining on you from the rear. For your safety, please keep a good eye out for vehicles moving up fast, before initiating an auto lane change. Ps. I like your videos, look forward to many more as you share this cool journey.
