Lauren Graham, is one of, if not the most underrated actress on TV. I've very rarely seen someone portray a character so well. Lorelai, was for her.

@@jessicawelsh4423 I've seen a lot of Lauren's work and I am amazed by her...not only she did an amazing job in Gilmore Girls, Sarah Braverman is another character she portrayed with such grace! And I haven't seen Zoey's Extraodinary Playlist, but I've watched a couple of clips over here and I am pretty sure she did a great job

She was snubbed when she was playing Lorelai. She deserved and still deserves more recognition than she ever received for that role. Lorelai was annoying at times (especially when trying to be cute with Luke), but she was not a one-note character. Lauren Graham was brilliant as Lorelai.

Those incredible scripts were beyond amazing also because of the way she performed them. I really do believe this part was meant to be for Lauren Graham and anyone else. Amy Sherman-Palladino is a wonderful writer... I'm hoping for a new tv show or a book!
