The 5 train may be the busiest but it’s the worst line on the whole IRT division for service especially north of East 180 Street. There are weekends when service on the 5 train is reduced to 20 minutes to accommodate 4 and 6 riders in Manhattan when 4, 5, and 6 trains share the same tracks during construction.
Definitely. Honestly the stations north of E 180 are almost forgotten and for the core of the line between Bowling Green and 125 20 min headways are horrible lol.
@@FuseguyisCool Gun Hill Rd was just recently renovated with elevators added. The last stop Dyre Avenue was renovated back in 2018. Hopefully, the other 3 stations will get fixed.
