Forever and ever I will love my husband. This was "our song". We were married almost 32 years before cancer took him away too soon. It's been the longest year of my life without him. However about a month or so before he passed, Tim did a video for me singing this song, and my husband and I got to watch it several times together. Now everyone can enjoy it with all of Home Free joining in. This will Forever be my favorite Home Free song. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🌈💕

That's awesome, Rose. The first time I heard this song, I was on my way to report to my first active duty station in the Air Force. My girlfriend at the time had long brown hair, and the song reminded me of her (of course). After a long engagement, I married her 32 years ago last month, and this will always be her song. Thanks, HF! (BTW, Tim, my wife is a lifelong choral/choir/ensemble soprano, and she once told me, "Sopranos go out with tenors, but they go HOME with basses." Certainly true in our case!)

Tim doesn't do vocal runs. He does vocal step-downs at neck-break speeds, with such clarity and precision , auto-tune is JEALOUS.

I can contest to this and to your marriage, my BF stood by me when at 37 i was told i had cancer myself. 2 surgeries and 7 years later i am still cancer free
I had cancer at 42 and now I’m 61. My husband shaved my head for me when I started losing my hair. It all came back only slightly thinner. He loved me til he died, 4 years ago. My cancer hasn’t come back and I pray that it doesn’t. Take care and God Bless!

Tim did a great job singing lead but the percussions coming from Adam on this one is just outstanding, wouldn't know there wasn't someone on the drums playing with them the whole time.
Do you think they had a bet going with Adam to see if he could beat box without using his hands? I don't think I've ever seen him perform without using his hands before. lol
@@lindanearing4710 I noticed that they all seemed to have their hands in their pockets. It makes me wonder if they intentionally tried not have any choreography in this one because usually Austin is moving all over the place. He can't seem to help not singing with his whole body.
The drums sound too perfect. Maybe he sampled it. Still like the song and Randy's original.
@@jayneterry8701 Adam doesn't sample. That's all him. He does use a looper to layer. But it's all Adam. He's a world class beat boxer. He doesn't need samples. Go check out Adam Rupp drum solo 2015. (Red shirt) for starters. He does harmonica sounds, castanets, amongst others and the most precise and accurate drum sounds in the beat boxing arena.

I will never hear this song without thinking about Mark W. Coniff Jr. He used to sing this song along with the jukebox at the restaurant we both worked at when I was 16. I was just a kid but had a huge crush on him lol. I hope he is doing well in life and happy. I wish we could have stayed in contact but my stepfather was a snake and fed him a bunch of twisted lies about me....Mark was a totally respectful gentleman.

This was my daughter's favorite song. It was a welcome break from Barney! (She was 4 years old.) We have both mourned Randy Travis illness, and I am so glad to have his song recorded by a favorite group in such a happy way.
I can relate to your comment. My first ever favorite song was Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire". That was probably when I was about 4 years old as well. The song still makes me happy. So this will probably always be a favorite of your daughter's. When I first learned of the Home Free cover of my favorite I was a bit worried (I had just discovered the group). Fortunately it is an excellent cover and makes me almost as happy as the original version.
I won't lie, I would have been upset if you didn't have Tim sing lead on this song. Hands down my favorite Randy song!
