Hi Vicki, I just want to drop in and send you the warmest thank-you. I can't say how much I feel related to hear you said how "life is kicking" or how much struggling it has been. All my thoughts are with you and I hope you could keep pushing yourself forward bravely as how you've been doing, one step at a time, no matter how overwhelming things seem to be. Personally, I've been always working far from any place I could call home. Last week, I had a chance to go back to my base apartment where I received your patreon letters and opened them one by one until I found a drawing full of green with a small note "my mother grows tomatoes in her garden" and "i am home" on the other side. And I just can't explain how strangely relieved that small squared piece of green made me feel. As if all my burdens were temporarily washed out by that concentration of green and vivid shades of orange and occasional comforting light blue. To tell the truth, I couldn't really pinpoint what about that print that was so healing for me. I don't have any significant memory with garden or tomatoes, so I guess all my feelings must have come from the art itself. Regardless, I brought the print with me and looked at it everytime I needed whatever was weighting on me to dissolve a little bit. I'm really glad I have it with me. Thank you Vicky for painting it and for sending it out to this world. I hope you know how healing your creation is, and I hope many others will find the kind of energy they might need the way I did as well. All my best wishes for the success of your upcoming projects and events ! K.L.
As always, it's a pleasure to see so many illustrated details and your sympathy when showing them, thank you for giving us this quality of content and always a pleasure to see you, greetings!
I love how crochet looks but I find it so hard to do. Just like knitting - my knitting looks nothing like it's meant to! I may need to check out skill share! 🧡
Just finished a binge of all your videos from day one. Great for when working on stuff, but without an update in two months and the show being closed I am a little worried :< !!
