How long in advance can I make this? Can it only be made day of or can it be made a day or two ahead?

I wondered whether you could give more info on the lights? I have been asked to do a few columns for my daughter's best friend's birthday disco on 23rd Feb. I also wondered whether you could advise on balloon sizes as I used "20 pumps" (Qualatex hand pump) for my wife's birthday columns last week but the gaps between the balloons look a bit big to me. Many thanks from Scotland.
