so like ive been looking for an answer i just cant find it in the vast sea of internet search algorithms, but if i already have 3 vive 3.0, and i want to upgrade to 4 tundra, can i still use my 3.0 for waist (can use 2 for waist at the same time using doublehiptracker) and use tundra at the same time for feet, headset, chest?
I didn't think occlusion was an issue since they don't need lighthouses to keep track of them. By occlusion, do you mean signal interference? Like, sitting at a metal desk or something?
My tundra trackers drift A LOT from their dongles and I’ve had to use a couple methods to decrease the drift. It happens to the last tracker connected to the dongle. I don’t know how to fix this completely but I can deal with drift every 5 minutes that lasts about 30 seconds compared to what it was at before with every 30 seconds 10 minute drift. They also turn on if you start charging them which can start steamVR which is kinda annoying
okay that is interesting cause I dont have any weird drift with mine...true the charging thing is a bit annoying I have them on a separate power line that I just turn off most of the time haha
I tried a couple different USB ports on the back of my motherboard, got a usb 3.0 pcie card and that fixed it a little and I tried moving their cords far away but I might try getting a usb 3.0 extender so I’m able to extend the dongle away from the other one and all my other htc dongles
Ok I have had my trackers for about a week now and was trying to find if other people had issues with openvr and the tundras and this video got recommended. I love your editing style is dry and amazing. fantastic video
Please, who can help me? StramVR doesn't detect my tundra trackers. They connect, but don't show up detected on the icon like my VR headsets do. It doesn't work in any game either. So is a base station required for it to work? how many base station, at the moment I only have 3 trackers.
tundra trackers need base stations to work yes...you need a minimum of 2 stations to have good enough tracking...maximum is 4 base stations for best tracking
@Rikku VR Well, I got my base stations set up on my end, and they connect instantly, but don't show up on SteamVR taskbar. My base stations are not connected to bluetooth.

I can't believe a 55g Tundra weighs less than a 100g weight! I didn't know that, thank you Rikku!
ikr pretty mind blowing
rikku thanks for putting those freedom units in, i would be very lost without them
npnp ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Plenty of random noise
Lmao, I love the RWJ =3 inspired transition
haha glad you noticed =3
"long VR sessions"
With pic in background, I had guilty laugh ^^;;

yes you can mix and match those how you want, since they both use base station 2.0 tracking
Thanks for the stream! UN DOS TRES CUATRO!
ESSOOOO

They need lighthouses since they use SteamVR, so I meant occulsion in a sense of line of sight^^
can we combine tundra with vive tracker?
yes you can, they also work with vive dongles if you want to
I laughed out loud from the "which is lighter than this 100g weight" lol
nice xD
Useful information but the annoying edits every split second are making it a hard watch
Pretty good speedrun, but I noticed you didn't use the intro skip. I bet you could shave off a few seconds there.
ah shit I forgor

@@template321 did you ever fully fix this ?I'm having the same issues
@@Midship_ nope! Thinking it might be a power error, got more usb dongles and never fixed the issue. If you've come up with anything lmk
it really starting to just seem that the trackers are dogshit
