Yes this is my family 😔 my grandmother and aunt disowned me because they are very strictly religious and old-fashioned in their beliefs and they disapproved when I started dating my son’s father. He is Hispanic and I’m white, so that was a huge no-no to them. She said she would cut me out of her will. I don’t want money from anybody so that didn’t bother me, it was the fact that they are my family and treated me that. She would call me every bad word and name in the vernacular. My mom, dad, brother, and sister always will gang up on me whenever we have an argument and always make me seem like I am just a horrible person. I am the oldest, so therefor everything has always been my fault or blamed on me when it wasn’t true. My father comes more from a place of truly wanting the best for me and wants me to have a strong relationship with God, so I am more understanding and forgiving. But I do not receive much emotional support from my family at all. My mom and sister are just toxic children at their hearts and don’t have any respect for my boundaries. My parents did help me a great deal financially after I left my son’s dad, but I always felt like I was a burden and an extra bill to pay… it hurts to know that they did think of it that way…. Well I just graduated Friday and spent all weekend applying to jobs, so as soon as I can, I AM OUT OF HERE WITH MY SWEET BABY BOY! He is all I need!!
