What made Jon so great it was his skill set when he stepped into the octagon before no one ever seen the oblique kicks the spinning elbows or just seeing someone throw a elbow as if it was a right hand etc he was just different bro and I can understand your point on the difference in the age gaps but the main thing is every fighter he fought was still at the top of their game until they fought him he retires a lot of guys mentally once they step across from him
Jones the best ever. His resume is unmatched, he has more title defences than Khabib has just fights in the UFC. He has the most title fights and defences ever and is the youngest champion ever and a two division champion spanning over a 10year career and 2 generations of fighters. His resume is unmatched, accomplishments on accomplishments.

@@GoddyGE for me and the majority yeah. A lot of fighters are on it but know when to cycle it in so it shows up negative on the USADA tests. He still has the best resume and one of the best skill sets MMA has ever seen. Khabib is hardly top 5 simply cause of his resume. He only had 13 UFC fights and 3 title defences. Compare that to guys like GSP, DJ, Jon Jones, Cormier etc they all resume wise far out do Khabibs.

Jones has almost 5 times the amount of title defences khabib has, in 29 fights khabib managed to get 3 title defences and basically fought cans for a majority of his career, fighters peak at the age of 28-32 and start falling off around 35-40 24 is relatively early in the career of a fighter, jon jones is the youngest champion in ufc history and he was 23 when he became a champ
So no he wasnt fighting people at the end of their careers, if anything hes fighting opponents in their prime at the start of his career as rampage said "he beat me at my best"

He just fought amateur fighters ,,,his most of the fights are like hugging to his opponents his opponents also said during press conference (after match) khabib doesn't take clear punches on his face he always tries to avoid it .that's why he look dominant to you because he have no blood on his face ...
