Today Brian is Stallion Handler at Glenview Stud, his biggest success came back in 2000 when partnering Jocks Cross, trained by Venetia Williams, to victory in the Welsh National.
Loved this. Was at Venita's when Brian was there. Super chap. Always great craic and big smile. I remember Jock's well and all the others he spoke of too. Great days there. He didn't mention Nordance Prince falling in the Champion Chase stepping on and breaking his new stick😂. He was furious. I actually remember Brian winning a pony race in Ballinhassig when he was about 10 or 11. Flying late down the outside "I timed it well" he said after to me. Delighted to have met him recently at Glenview open day too and he's still got that big smiley head on him. 😄
