I think this is one of the best Tutoriales if not the best tutorial I’ve seen so far. Great structure, easy to understand and follow, entertaining, no bulls***. Time saving, intelligent. Thank you very much. Love it.
Love your guides! I just started learning C4D some time ago, though I don't have much time to learn since my main job is as an engineer, but I hope to be able to do excellent product shots and videos just like yours and the other C4D experts out there in the future. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise with us!
Awesome. Love how quickly you ran through this! Usually I have to set the playback speed on tutorials to 1.5x or more to keep from falling asleep. This one was perfect w/o any extra juice!
You have perfect pacing for short tutorial videos, and your enthusiastic approach to teaching is pretty awesome. Glass looks great. When you started moving the HDRI around, it was an "aha" moment ( Amazon Prime logo animation and Snowfall season 5 TV show logo intro).
Thank you, I really appreciate the kind words! Yeah it's crazy how many different results you can achieve! Here's the file if you want it: www.dropbox.com/t/tEu2IsZa31pxXRt9
@5:45 Hey Ross, I think a combination of Vertex Maps + Fields in different shapes might be more flexible if you want to art direct the gradient even more. (it can even do growth animation too!) Other than that, great tutorial as always!
the only way i found to make it work is : i put the projection on frontal on the material and my camera view at the top, by this way i can see the gradient in the good way, and after that i make the cube editable etc etc..
Thanks for this... but the editing style if a bit too fast, I get that you wanted to make a quick tutorial, but when dialling the numbers and things like, it would be good if you can slow down a bit. cheers
Ross ma dude, great looking glass BUT no project file and I've tried to follow along.. but you go too dang fast, don't show what you're piping into the materials and then this tut becomes useless. Still some great and helpful nuggets along the way. but getting totally different results
For any future viewers, here's the link to the project file :)

Hi there! I can't select Generate UVW Coordinates, do you know what I need to do? @5:35
Hi Ross, i don't know why but the trick of generate uv don't work for me...it's possible i miss some detail but i cant found why it don't works
the only way i found to make it work is : i put the projection on frontal on the material and my camera view at the top, by this way i can see the gradient in the good way, and after that i make the cube editable etc etc..
