About this shirt: The 2023/24 Leeds United away kit from Adidas is a thing of absolute beauty. The design ‘proudly shows off Leeds United DNA’ and is inspired by one of the club’s nicknames. An eye-catching peacock-inspired print on the front of the shirt has a rich blue base with turquoise detailing. The club crest, Adidas and sponsor logos all feature in turquoise. The neckline of the shirt is predominantly navy blue but some nice detailing in turquoise is visible on the sides. The iconic three stripes are present on the shoulder while the sleeves see a continuation of the peacock pattern with a navy sleeve cuff. The back of the jersey is deep navy with the only detail to note being the inclusion of a peacock logo on the upper neck. This symbol was used as the club crest between 1980 and 1984. The side trim and hem line also see use of the turquoise colour. This jersey has flown under the radar in my opinion, the camera doesn’t do the vibrant colours of the peacock pattern justice. This shirt could be part of a memorable season as the Whites currently sit joint top of the Championship (albeit with a game in hand).

First time in my life I bought shirts directly from an online club store. The price has fallen even more, so about two weeks ago I ordered two Home and two Away shirts, two for me, two for a friend, at 25 euros a piece. To the 100 euros for the shirts, we added 18 euros to have them sent via air. So, total, shipping included, 118, meaning 29.50 euros per shirts. I have both shirts (Home and Away) hanging next to me as I write this, and… I’m in love :-).
