  • Shaun Ellis has joined a pack of wolves, living and behaving like them. Abandoned at birth, three wolf pups are raised by Shaun who then teaches them the ways of the wild. As they grow up, he feeds, sleeps and breaths the same air as his wolves and in return they give him a place in the pack. Seeing the world as a wolf, Shaun takes a step further and comes up with a plan to help wild wolves threatened in Poland.

It’s why you shouldn’t shampoo your hair every day, get a shower obviously but just get your hair wet, don’t shampoo it every day, just every 3/4 days

    • @razor5764
      @razor5764 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@aritina8379 Wow, that's quite offensive to me. Not all single children are spoiled brats. I'm a single child (eleven years of age) and I understand pack hierarchy very well. The mother and father wolf (also known as the matriarchs or alphas) are the leaders and parents of the wolf pack members. Once the alphas have their second litter (if they do), the first litter of pups will help raise those new pups. After the pups are 1-3 years old they usually leave the pack and become a dispersal wolf looking for a mate of their own. So please, get your facts straight before calling others out. And I understand completely wolves are NOT savage, edgy beasts. They are cautious and timid towards humans, avoiding most human contact. However, certain species of wolves don't fear humans due to never having human contact, so they don't know any reasons to fear us. I was quite offended reading your comment because of the lack of common sense and because of your rude statements. Yeah, some children are brats, but not every child is.

    • @razor5764
      @razor5764 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@aritina8379 And it doesn't even seem you know pack hierarchy, anyways. A wolf doesn't join or be born into a pack leading all the wolves, nor do they fight for alpha position. The only time wolves fight for alpha position is when stranger wolves challenge the current alpha(s).

He was top dog and teacher one day, got first serve, was allowed to snarl and nip, now he’s one of the last to eat. In a way I almost feel sorry, but it is amazing to see how this experience fortified the belief that he’s truly part of the pack and accepted, respect to this guy for years of dedication

    A very well produced documentary on wolves...I have Shaun Ellis's book "WOLVES"...I was surprised to learn how very intelligent, how highly organized, and specialized wolves are...I will share with you a small portion of what the book taught me about what goes on in wolf society... The most misunderstood wolf, is the "omega" wolf...The role of the omega wolf is critically important for the survival of the wolf pack...The "omega" is the peace-maker, and practical manager of the wolf pack, in wolf society...The alpha wolves direct and rule the pack...The "beta" wolves are the larger size wolves, they enforce the rule of the alpha-wolves on the rest of the pack... The omega wolf has a calming influence on the pack, and keeps the pack from harming each other...

      Lmao no the whole alpha male and alpha female thing, that's been known as a myth. In reality they're all just brother sisters and cousins that stick together. The only " alpha" are the parents

    There is a transcendent beauty to what this man does that makes me cry tears of joy. What a brave soul, a truly courageous man, and an emissary of divine love. The wolves speak to him, and he understands. He speaks, and they understand him. There is perfection lurking in that interplay, people. May we all try to understand each other with his patience and dedication. Also, it helps that he's built like a brick house.

    Humans have a special connection with wolves. over 20,000 years ago we humans bred wolves (Canis Lupus) and through natural selection accompanied by domestication they evolved to what we know now as the Canis Lupus Familiaris (dogs).

    There comes a time when too much is too much. 1. If your family doesn't approve of what you do, then that's their fault. They left him. 2. He's not French-kissing wolves. Any person with common sense should know that licking is not necessarily kissing to a wolf. 3. He did reach them. Although the howl of a wolf is always there the ability is awakened by other members of the pack. He awoke those instincts. He taught them the system of alpha and beta, he also made sure there were things they could do if they are ever released into the wild. 4. He is not attempting to domesticate them. 5. If you have negative things to say about a man who risks his life everyday to do what he loves well keep it to yourself.

He risk his life everyday every minute he is with them . I don’t know anyone this brave. His love for wolves has got to be from God. You couldn’t do this no other way.
