I never try and say who's better than the other. IMO, A great musician is measured by style and technique. Patrick has developed a unique style with amazing technique, his voice is his own. Emmet, also has unsurpassed talent. Just my 2 !

Patrick is something else but man, the rest of these players are just as amazing in their own way. On my 50th time listening I really started to pay attention to the drummer and, yea, wow. Love the expressiveness. I'd hire him, heck, I'd hire all of them in a heartbeat even if I didn't make any money off the gig!

Hi I’m new to jazz so I don’t really understand 33:00. Is it because the feel changing from like a tango vibe to regular jazz vibe, and the fact that it wasn’t planned but all of them went together nonetheless?
Yeah so around 32:40 they switched to Latin grove. While I don’t know for sure, they probably talked about it before the set but it’s definitely not written or anything just really good dudes having fun
Pretty much, it wasn’t expected and it just felt so good, you will get it more if you listen on something where you can hear and FEEL the bass going back to walking quarter notes. It just felt good so all they could do was yell hahah
