Comstar--my favorite faction, hands down. They protect Terra, they preserve the greatest of human achievements, and they use their unique leverage (communications) not to screw over everyone, but to ensure their neutrality and sovereignty is respected. Pity they went all AdMech.

More like they actively tried to make sure only they had access to any records and technology dating back to the star league and tried killed anyone who found a SLDF base that had lostech because they wanted the innershpere to tear itself apart and take over themselves. Then the Helm memory core was discovered and comstar threw a conniption fit because it had all the records and instructions on how to make all the tech lost to the innershpere do their shenanigans and the succession wars and it got sent to everyone

Hey Crocket, nice video. I'm getting a little bit bored of my Blackjacks, and I'm looking for another medium, and the Kintaro looks like a good candidate. I don't like piloting Clan mechs for some reason, but I do like the concept of runnning around with SRMs or Streak-2s. Any recommendations?
Well one of the Kintaro variants can bring a lot of SRM's so it's a good start point. The Griffin 2N works well in this role also because of the ECM and high mounted missile points. I think one of the Wolverine variants work well as a missile carrier also, but I might be thinking of a different medium.

And I remember someone talking about Something with bombing nuking a whole entire planet and it had something to do with word of Blake... I'll have to research it but from what I remember It was chilling and completely awful. I wanted to do a scene and wanted to know a little about it
Word of blake commited numerous acts like this, though my knowledge on them specifically is limited. I would ask Sumaire AKA devin in my discord for info on that since he is writing a lot of his own material set in that periord.

And I just ran across someone selling packs of Wizards of the coast Battletech un opened booster packs. 15 cards in each pack. And they are cheaper than Dirt. If your interested in buying one or some of these unopened Battletech Card booster packs lmk. I show you the link Not sure how Rare they are but they look older and hell they are probably cool
The CCG game was something I missed back in the day due to being in school and having no money, but it looked fun. I know tabletop simulator has a complete card list for play so I might look at that someday. Still if you can get a full set and get someone to play, I hear it is quite fun. The Battletechnology mags are rare and getting them in good condition is even rarer. Some really good material in those and even some 'mechs and tech that appeared there before being added to Battletech like the Devastator, the original titan which is now the titan II, Osprey amongst others.
I still have my Comstar deck, ah memories of the CCG market before WoTC convinced a court that turning a card some number of degrees to denote a change in state was somehow their unique idea [ignoring Tarot that has done such for several centuries].
And fuck me, Comstar's pilots really took a page outta Judge Dredd when they were making their ghastly wardrobe.. Somehow though, I'm not completely against it.
