She has talked about this song before. It's basically the view of the monster towards whoever was on the bed, which in this case was her. She was the person on the bed and she is the monster under the bed since she's the worst enemy of herself. "I wanna end me" litterally just means she wants to kill the person on the bed, which simply means suicide.
She even says “the debt I owe I sell my soul no I can’t say no I can’t say no”
Even though I think that has alr to do with the song and video. I believe that it has to do with this dark side of Billie which states that she’s her worst enemy. I also believe that a lot of the lyrics have to do with what the people behind the scenes are doing to her or telling her. Possibly forcing her to do things. She even says “calling security, getting my head held down” which sounds like they’re forcing her to not say things. I honestly believe that this song is a truth on the industry and how she is feeling right now.

She's talked about her struggle witg depression, and a lot of her lyrics emulate the struggles she has to accept herself and hold on despite all the self-hate she has. This song was written from the perspective of "the monster under the bed" and the scary parts of the video are supposed to parallel her night terrors. Lots of deep meaning in this video.
