You run your chains to tight that's why it stretches so mutch ever time you ride. When you jump the rear tire drops and pulls the chain before it tops out the suspension.
Tell Dillon he needs to pull two pins out of that carrier ramp. One where the front tire goes and one where the rear tire goes. This is by design. The bike will ride lower and more secure.

a chains supposed to have some slack, the chains on your crf and kxf are to tight and causing binding on the countershaft and probably bearing wear and chain stretch, you are mistaken, when the swing arm/wheel pivots up it moves the rear sprocket farther from the countershaft because it is mounted in front of the pivot point of the swing arm and the rear axle is lower so its drawn closer unless you have the shock set so low that the swing arm is level, check out a manual at a shop if you don't believe me
This0is0pointless i left about five centimeters of play onto my pitbike chain and made a suspended tightener with a hard plastic roller. It keeps the chaing tight all the time even when its a bouncy ride

That Honda chain is way to tight. 2 or 3 fingers of slack is actually what you want.( 2-3 fingers butt up against the swingarm slider. The Yamaha is burning coolant, mostly a head gasket(white smoke).
That rack has holes in it for the Tiedowns where the Relector is sticking up and the pin holding the front tire up is actually supposed to go through the center of the rim! READ THE DIRECTIONS!!!!
His ttr needs a carb rebuild because it's running at such a high rpm and it was running hot and smoking that's what I had to do to my 2002 ttr and it runs like it is brand new now!
Oh, man, your buddy's yz is going to wind up with road tash if he's not careful. That receiver is most likely "rated" for no more then 50lbs tongue weight...if that. The bike weighs about 200 lbs from what I remember, then figure in all the leverage the 18" long carrier gives it...that could get ugly.

on my xr600 i tightened the chain then i sat down and it got tighter. so now i leave it loos like the ttr. got no problems provsbly wont perforfamce is still spot on

I had a TT-R225. Thing smoked like crazy too, never found out what it was, sold it for $600 with a spare motor and a bunch of other spare parts. ran good though :/
