  • Pitod Ki Sabzi By Kum_icook
    Ingredients
    For Pitod:
    1 cup Chickpea flour
    Salt to taste
    1/2 cup turmeric powder
    1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
    1 tsp Black Salt
    Pinch Carrom Seeds
    2 tbsp Yogurt
    2 tbsp Gingergarlic Paste
    1 tbsp green chilli paste
    1 tsp coriander powder
    1 glass of water
    For Gravy:
    1/2 cup oil
    1/2 tsp Mustard Seed
    Few Curry Leave
    1 tsp Cumin seed
    2-3 Red Chilli
    1 tsp Green Chilli Paste
    2 tbsp Gingergarlic Paste
    1 cup tomato puree
    2 tbsp Onion Paste
    Pinch Carrom Seeds
    2 tbsp Yogurt
    1 tsp Chicken Powder
    1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
    1/2 cup of water
    1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
    1 tbsp coriander powder
    1 tsp Mustard Paste
    1 tbsp Coconut Powder
    Salt to taste
    Instructions
    For Pitod:
    Blend all the ingredients well. Now put this mixture in a deep pan on high flame. When it starts to boil, lower the flame and cook for 1 hour. Stir constantly to avoid lumps. When it thickens, transfer the mixture to a greased plate. Smooth with the back of a spoon or spatula. Let it set for about an hour and a half to two hours. Once set, cut them into desired shapes.
    For Gravy:
    Heat oil in a pan and add red chillies, mustard seeds and curry leaves. When it starts to crackle, add cumin and garlic ginger paste. When it changes color, add all the ingredients except yogurt. And let it boil on high heat, when it starts to boil, reduce the heat. Then cover and cook for 10-15 minutes. Until the oil separates. Then add yogurt to it and cook it well. Now add water to it and let it boil on high heat. When it starts to boil, reduce the heat and add the pitod and cook for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh coriander, fenugreek and green chillies.
