Never seen a player down and bleeding while opponents laugh. Damn Caitlin's tough. I'm very impressed with her AND her teammates. They love her as does the crowd. It's just really screwy that referees just don't notice any dirty play against Caitlin. You people really suck if you need to be told that it is just a damn shame. Really pisses me off.
The refs have a job and it’s not to be impartial. Their job is to steer the game to the outcome dictated by those above, even if it means sacrificing the players.

This is not professional basketball! This is very much a case of kids ‘this is not basketball, do not think this is acceptable play.’ As a coach of school and adult basketball I would not use the WNBA as an example of how I wanted the team to play. For a start what is called a ‘flagrant’ foul would’ve been called ‘intentional’ in Europe, the naming in my opinion is important. Intentional, premeditated assault, is not acceptable and against the tenet of fair play in sport. As for ‘what rookies have to expect in their first year’ what an absurd statement! No player, however many years they’ve played should have to suffer this treatment. Forget for one moment Caitlin Clark, (no disrespect to her) the WNBA is not a good model of athletic competition, in fact it is a dreadful example for young players aspiring to play the game. Even before entering the league, the Mau Mau Sisterhood were attacking CC and her fans. The amount of hatred toward her was incredible leading Charles Barkley using choice words to defend CC. I used to think the refs were just outright incompetent. Not anymore. The refs came to understand the animus toward her by WNBA management, coaches, players, and media. The refs understood that their job was to throttle and even allow dangerous fouls against CC. The establishment was able to get away with the behavior of the refs by hiding behind the claim that a major feature of the league was "physicality'. Every cheap shot and hard uncalled fouls was defined as WNBA being physical. At this point better to sit CC down as the WNBA has declared open season on CC.

I've watched every available game. It is absolutely clear that Clark is being brutalized by the players and the refs. In order to bring some sanity and integrity to the WNBA they will have to clean house on the refs. Every missed call will have to result in a penalty and subsequent dismissal on repeated calls. There are more than the ten calls identified here. There are repeated hits to the face, eyes and nose and frequent body blows. The call where she was hit in the eye was shown in slow motion and you can see where the offending player curled her hand down like a dagger and went right for her eye with dagger like finger nails. That player needs to be suspended from any further play this year and going into next year. It seems to me Clark is just faster than other players and they can't keep up with her so they foul. I think they would have you believe they are purposely fouling because they don't like her or it's a racial issue. If the refs called every foul made against her then the game would never get played. If they actually allowed her to play the basketball she is capable of it would be no contest. Before Clark I never watched a whole WNBA game and now I will never watch a WNBA game she doesn't play in.

Aliyah Boston was called for a foul that she did not do...She shouted loudly to her Coach to challenge the call...

I've watched every available game. It is absolutely clear that Clark is being brutalized by the players and the refs. In order to bring some sanity and integrity to the WNBA they will have to clean house on the refs. Every missed call will have to result in a penalty and subsequent dismissal on repeated calls. There are more than the ten calls identified here. There are repeated hits to the face, eyes and nose and frequent body blows. The call where she was hit in the eye was shown in slow motion and you can see where the offending player curled her hand down like a dagger and went right for her eye with dagger like finger nails. That player needs to be suspended from any further play this year and going into next year. It seems to me Clark is just faster than other players and they can't keep up with her so they foul. I think they would have you believe they are purposely fouling because they don't like her or it's a racial issue. If the refs called every foul made against her then the game would never get played. If they actually allowed her to play the basketball she is capable of it would be no contest. Before Clark I never watched a whole WNBA game and now I will never watch a WNBA game she doesn't play in.

Boycotting the WNBA will do nothing - the NBA will bail them out. Boycott the sponsors and tell them why.
