Id clean the body.. clear coat it.. fix the rust issues (correctly) and convert to 4 wheel disk brakes. But id save that "patina" *EDIT* *i should have got further in the video as you covered all that..lmao*
Lol it’s all good bro and yes I really would rather have a 4 wheel disc set up! But I really think I’m gonna save the patina look and get some nice wheels on it and lowered and stuff! 🤟🏼
Yep...after pressure wash that patina is looking pretty cool. I'd even pressure wash the Ford letters a little more on the tailgate so the letters can stick out more!
awesome gonna watch you work on this you seem oretty cool keep up the good work classics need love too i am getting the same year make and model truck soon and my current mode of transportation is a 1968 f100 custom cab you have an amazing grandpa bless you and your family p.s. im an 88 elder millennial hahaha
Wow I’m starting on a 1958 Ford f100 also mine has a 272 v8 in it , it was my grandpas I can’t wait to see what you do with it I might need advise on mine hope all goes well and smooth for you I’ll keep on watching throughout the build love the content
Please don't do the license plate crap some of those guys do that thinks it's cool but really looks stupid 😂and no Ls swaps what so ever, that is really played out, but a 408 stroker would be cool though 😁 with it dropped and some black rims dark tinted windows, that would be sweet and the color looks nice, you could go back with the same color metallic and that thing will be sharp
Hey man how can I get in contact with you I have a question about my 94 mustang cobra? It's carburetor like yours and I have the hei distributor but I'm having problems with my hei distributor it keeps burning up the control module
For a 68 year old truck it looks fantastic I love it

Hell yeah! Coyote swap!
I’d definitely love to do that! 🤟🏼
please leave ford powered! if you have to go modern use push rod 5.0 or coyote v8 great video!
Thank you🙏🏼 and yes it will stay Ford powered either pushrod 5.0 or coyote! I want this build to be fuel injected!
Glad I didn’t have a drink in my hand while I was waiting for the ratchet strap to break 😂. Jumped out of my skin! Love the truck!
Sorry man 😂 I had to add that in because that’s al I could think of is that strap breaking lol

Dang bro small world lol, I hope all goes well for your build as well! Thanks for the support 🙏🏼
i have a couple of millennials, i think ill keep them!!🤣🤣
Was is really sad is I use to buy these trucks (57-60's F100's) for $500-$1000 until the internet came along.
Great truck and good luck with the resto. My only hope is that you keep it as original as possible and not hot rod it out.
Please hot rod it out. They are so ugly
What did you do with that Y Block motor out of the truck? I’m restoring a 1957 and I’m looking for one
The engine is still in the truck. Unfortunately idk if I can let the engine go considering I may keep it all original for a little while.
@@lollis_garage3683 well, let me know if you decide to do a swap
Trucks are a big thing here in Germany. Smashed the like button Check. Your Grandfather interested in selling that 48-54 Chevy Truck?

No Ls swap for this ol girl she’s staying Ford lol and yes I think it would look good like that
