Ahmet Berke Kevser Your comments and assumptions make me laugh. Yes people would "have to eat much more plants"; plants that are being fed to animals. What part of this don't you understand? If crops devoted to feed live stock were converted to feed humans instead you could feed 8 million people. That's just the land that is now devoted to produce food for livestock. If you can't understand this, you're beyond help. Not only you'd be using incredibly less land and resources such as water, you could end world starvation and save the environment. The exploitation of animals for food is today not only the last great social justice issue it is also the biggest environmental and habitat loss issue. You haven't presented any facts or made any point so far. Your arguments are not only flawed they're just dumb. The animals you mention would also be a lot safer too since less land would be needed. And as you're probably guessing I do not consume Palm Oil nor should anyone. Neither can you find it in any of the milks I consume. Come back when you're ready to have a serious conversation. In indonesia rainforest are destroyed to meet the demand of the palm oil a plant product. Agriculture needs space be it animal farming or plant farming, which means habitat destruction and pest control. Either way animals die. Where is the evidence of incredibly less land and resources? And you didn't give any evidence about the supposed milks you drink. What are their ingredients? How they are made? How much habitat is needed for them?
