- I made this project 15 years ago and now this i sthe digitally 4k 24fps digitally remastered version.
Nkauj Kib always believed that Tub Xyooj was wealthy because he always comes next to a richer house. The day she finds out she is pregnant, she happily goes home with Tub Xyooj just to find out that he does not live in the wealthy house she thought but the old hut in the back village. She doesn't want to marry but because she is pregnant with his child she will give it a chance to build everything. She doesn't like her mother in Law. When war broke out and Tub Xyooj was drafted she was left to live with her mother in law. She started to use the old lady until oneday she died in the house and her spirit does not allow Nkauj Kib Zag to leave.
For anyone who didn't read, this was made 15 years ago. I have to agree with a lot of the comments, the videography isn't the best, but who knows what you were using. I think if you made a film these days, it'd be better of course. The plot was simple and easy to follow. Ntxhi has always done a good job of being the mean one 😅 looking forward to more projects
thanks, yes this was 15 years ago. We did what we could afford only. The technology was not as affordable as it is today.
Just some constructive criticism to help you better the next projects. It hurts my eyes to watch, but it could be just me. Some scenes don’t make any sense and scripts can be a bit redundant especially at the beginning when the old lady was talking to the other ladies. Tune down the background music and noises so we can hear what the characters are saying. It felt like scenes were unnecessarily dragged out for no reason. I know it’s just a movie, but wearing sandals in some scenes and then be barefooted in other scenes is noticeable. Looking forward to your future projects!

PRO: I like the twist plots and dream sequence. Can't spoil it.
CONS: The camera works so bad. My eyes hurt. I think my brain had seizures. I had to take Tylenol.

Hope you all enjoy. Don’t know why YT makes the clips have that flickering. I tried fixing it.
It could be a couple things:
Maybe you changed the frame rate when exporting this.
Maybe what you export is a file that isn’t the actual project, but the project is being exported too many times.
In addition to the above, if you change something while it is exported multiple times and not from the actual edit then it tends to act up.
What does mean for this movie I don't understand the meaning of?

it is an old movie, as Hmong is still at the very beginning phase of the movie industry, we are no near to standard. But with practice this will help pave the way

It wasnt a bad start for your first release.. but the acting and storyline isnt that great.. and theres too many darkness where you cannot see whats really going on... but other than that the music was nice..the actors need more emotions behind the scene..
What I didn't get was why make the nyab so mean? If you're trying to gain empathy you should have made her character much more nicer towards the son and mother in-law. It seamed like she was frustrated with everything not going right. Just my opinion.

Okay, ngl I had low expectations for this movie and I was right. I didn’t wana watch it but it kept popping up on my feed and already disappointed at the beginning. I hate how they use filters to make it look dark. I don’t know why the screen is flickering hurting my eyes. Scenes that shows the sun and mountains are super long for no reason. The camera is so zoomed in many scenes and when it’s zoomed it, the camera is moving so much hurting my eyes and making me feel dizzy. Also why did she just go to find people to talk to and tell them she wana talk and when they told her yea for her to hang with them. She then said she fina go home. That scene had no purpose. Lastly, acting is bad. Not all bad but pretty bad. I’m sorry for being too blunt but these are great feedbacks on how to better yalls filming in the future. 😭❤️🫶🏼all love tho Frs
