Thank you so much for doing this video -- it was so clear and concise that Nancy Ziieman herself would have been impressed, God rest her soul! You should have you own television show if you don't already! Thanks again!
I can't tell you how many times I have referred to this video, Jann! Top of my bookmark list. Thanks so much for helping me succeed in "simple" sewing!
Wow! Perfect instructions...you really thought of everything. I probably haven't done cording in twenty years and this made it seem as if I did it yesterday! Thank you!

@6:24 ::: I was having a problem getting my seams on the correct side all the way down. I figured it out - just like you have it pinned, the angle that runs top-to- bottom must be on top of the piece that runs left-to-right; otherwise, your seam will be on the incorrect side.
Thanks Jessica! Yes, this is one of my early videos from 5 or 6 years ago. Constantly trying to make better quality videos, which includes better audio!

Have you add a ruffle with the cording for a pillow ?
I have done this before when I had an industrial sewing machine. Adding a ruffle would add a lot of layers to sew through. Thanks for watching!

When you're working with cotton cording, do you pre-wash it?
Only if I'm going to be washing the item later, in which case I would also pre-wash the fabric.
Thank you it is very interesting , can you please tell me what size of the sewing machine foot you are using . Thank you so much . Maria
I'm making 1/4" cording, so I'm using a 1/4" cording foot. Thanks for watching!

Are you able to sew cording without a sewing machine???
You could, but it would take a long time to sew the cording and then sew it to the pillow fabric. Thanks for watching!
