Apaladin gets me so choked up. His gait and confidence make me absolutely speechless. If he was my horse I would create a shrine for him. What a gorgeous creature
That grey was born to show. His strong trot when he came down the near side of the equidome gave me chills up and down my arms!!! Everyone yelling and clapping when he trotted!! Oh my gosh he soaked it UP!!!
I had the privilege to be there for this class. No stallion every made me cry until Apaladin! His movements were something to behold! I've never forgotten this night!
These Arabs are works of art! I absolutely love going to the Scottsdale Arab Show. Seeing this magnificent breed at its finest is definitely a sight to see! :)
Too many commint show that too many dont anderstand that arabian horse is smart .. full of energy and proud .. brave .. Legendry loyelity and crazy to show him self ..... Arabian horse in this class is in hes nature .... simply
The cheering doesn't scare them - they are used to it and they actually get more revved up the louder the cheering gets! They are out there having a great time - I LOVE this class. :)
At liberty you're able to see the horse's natural action as well as conformation. It appears as if it's a silly class as they're running free, but that's just it, they're not under control or their gait forced. It's one of my favorites as you can also get a great idea if their temperament and spirit. The quintessential Arabian is a breathtakingly spirited horse with a proud countenance.
+bezoticallyyours83 - thanks, love Arabians. My first official horse graduating up from ponies as a kid was an Arabian. Fifty years later I still love them.
Excuse me? You can tell the horse loves his job. Do you think he'd run around with such a happy expression if he didn't like it? No. He loves the applause and he does get respect. Do you see people throwing things at him? No, but that would be disrespect. He is a perfectly healthy horse, therefore he does get respect and he loves what he does.
I always come back to this video and the grey in the beginning. So often in liberty class the horse merely gallops around the arena at full tilt looking near panicked but that horse truly showed his paces . That floating trot was something you'd see with a rider on board but he did it all on his own. His pausing to address the crowd and the way he carried himself was truly showing off.
The Liberty class is there to showcase the horses movement, type, and charisma. These horses are excellent examples. These horses are all shown in other classes, and like any good horse, they are treated with respect. The Crowd you hear in the background, is screaming bc we love to watch these animals, and we like to amp the energy.
they are both stunning, and for all of you saying this is terrible, horses love to please others, whether that is another horse, animal, or human. If they truly didn't want to do this, trust me they WOUDN'T!
Oh my gosh, that is probably one of the most beautiful horses I've ever seen. He sure has the looks but wow, his movement, especially his very powerful trot is absolutely breath-taking. I wouldn't mind finding that arabian in my backyard ;)
Yes, the natural, uplifted tail shows the horse is comfortable. Also, they "turn an ear" to their handlers (they are paying attention to them) and are aware and respectful of the photographers and others in the arena with them. If the horse were afraid, it would be jumping or plowing into the table, or people & showing a much different response than these horses. This is just free lungeing- the horses do enjoy just running around. You have to see a truly afraid horse to see the difference.
Everyone is just admiring the beauty of the horse. Arabians have to follow a certain physique that is signature to the breed. So they are admiring how well this horse represents the breed. From watching the video, it is clear that this is a very good example of the arabian breed. They are having the horse run to display its gaits and fluidity of movement. It's an appreciation, an art.
Liberty has always been as favorite class for me to watch. The horses are such showmen, they love the attention, and for a chance to strut their stuff.I thought the grey was the best,he had some Serious action!
Arabians are bred for this...I was actually at this show, watching this class. Apaladin+ is the epitome of Arabian horses. If you watch any Liberty Class, you'll see that the great majority of stallions don't wander far from the gate. Usually, trainers are trying their hardest to get the stallions to go the length of the arena. Apaladin+ is the first Arabian that I have ever gotten goosebumps from. It was as though he was "saying" ..."look at me, aren't I incredible!" And he was!
Very pretty. That's a cool way to show off your horse. I've known about the Arabian Nationals for a long time, but I didn't realize the freestyle class was just letting your horse run around. Still, it looks fun for the horse to prance around, run and show off.
Dennet Offerman What extension? Historically, the Arab has a lovely floating trot but these horses have been bred to show a Hackney knee action which spoils it.
still able to canter all day through hot sand with no water. The forbears of our modern Thoroughbred. The godolphin, the byerly and the Darley arabians. Wear their lines around their neck. Dished face, yes, ankles smaller than mine, yes. Tougher than titanium, better believe it!!!!
Apaladin...you know you are the most beautiful, stop looking at your tail like this you are breaking my heart, the line between this creatures and perfection is them being eternal, thanks God for delivering this beauty to earth.
my mare is an arabian , and she has super sass , and she KNOWS shes beautiful lol , she shows off all the time ! mostly in front of cameras and people .
Arabians do that out of excitement and they live to entertain. My horse adores crowds and puts on such a show. The only one that looked a bit spooky to me was the chestnut, the rest were running around having a woohoo at all the excitement.
are these horses naturally so bold? this is amazing. I've never seen this in my life!! How majestic. They have shows like this in Scottsdale every year? If so, how do I get tickets?
I like how the chestnut was all like: Woah! Where'd That come from? (when faced with the judge's stand) and then the second time was all like: Whoops... wrong turn. The grey was stunning, and the bay was alright.
@70sHippy Its the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show. Open to Purebred Arabians and Partbred Arabians. It involves liberty (like this video), western classes, hunter, english, country pleasure, park, driving, jumping, dressage, cutting, reining, halter, working cow, sport horse, leadline, and much more that I havent mentioned. One of the greatest Arabian horse shows.
My grandma describes them as to smart for there owners good. normal door latch's don't work to keep them in. We had 2 tell resonantly they could get just about anything open.
Yep! My Presto got out of every lock that's why his name is Presto. I tied a tail hair in a bow around the lock and so far (for 4 years now) he hasn't figure it out lol. He's so smart and beautiful.
i dont know why everyones arguing over a class that is just for fun. An arab is enjoyable to watch run free specially because of their "floating trot" its not really a legit class you never see in an arabs accomplishments when its for sale or advertised that its "national champion liberty" horse or whatever. its just for enjoyment.
Does anyone know who the bay is? I always am in awe of Apaladin+. It's not very often that a horse can excell in Halter, under saddle, and at Liberty to the extent that he has. Bravo!!!
I love the liberty classes. Nothing in the world is as beautiful and elegant. Gorgeous.. My mare would so lay down and roll!
I go to that arabian horse show at westworld every year and this by far is one of my favorite classes when watching the finals!!
Apaladin gets me so choked up. His gait and confidence make me absolutely speechless. If he was my horse I would create a shrine for him. What a gorgeous creature

Isn't he the bomb? I just love watching him.
Beautiful Arabian!
These Arabs are works of art! I absolutely love going to the Scottsdale Arab Show. Seeing this magnificent breed at its finest is definitely a sight to see! :)
I saw this horse live and he was spectacular. He put on quite a show and his trot was amazing. The best liberty horse I've seen at Scottsdale so far.
Too many commint show that too many dont anderstand that arabian horse is smart .. full of energy and proud .. brave .. Legendry loyelity and crazy to show him self .....
Arabian horse in this class is in hes nature .... simply
The gray horse's trot is AMAZING! I had to watch it a few times, it's so good and he knows it, too
RhapsodyOaksFarm Almost seemed like he was floating

Arabian Horse is the sign of the beauty ;I wish if I can have one one day !
This looks like it was a fun class. Words can't describe how beautiful this really is!!!!!
they are both stunning, and for all of you saying this is terrible, horses love to please others, whether that is another horse, animal, or human. If they truly didn't want to do this, trust me they WOUDN'T!
this horse is not being disrespected, its happy and its loving the applause. that is showing off, you no nothing about horses.
Words can't describe how beautiful this is!!!

YEEEEEEEEEEES!
WOW, i have never seen anything like these movements before. specially the first horse, what a trot! thanks for posting:-)

Wow - all amazing - but the first one was stunning !

Those horses were so amazing and beautifu!! Awesome video!
There's no fear at work there, that's personal pride.
omg could you imagine riding one of them that would be amazing
Very pretty. That's a cool way to show off your horse. I've known about the Arabian Nationals for a long time, but I didn't realize the freestyle class was just letting your horse run around. Still, it looks fun for the horse to prance around, run and show off.
Wow. This gives me goosbumps.. That horse is amazing
BEAUTIFUL Head!! :) Love the liberty runs!! He's Just Goregous! Love The tail Set!!
Horses truly are moving pieces of art.
Just loved the extension of the first horse's trot!
Dennet Offerman What extension? Historically, the Arab has a lovely floating trot but these horses have been bred to show a Hackney knee action which spoils it.
@@GFSTaylor No. Extension as in the style of a dressage horse, not a Hackney. A Hackney is more about elavation, than ground coverage.
It does look pretty cool... i think its because of the transition into canter... its frickin awesome looking :)
I love Arabians! They are my favorite breed! They are sooo beautiful!! :)
Arabian horses, the smartest and the most beautiful.
oh wow they are so absolutely stunning and gorgeous!!!
Amazing breed =) That first horse is just STUNNING!
That gray really knows how to work a crowd...
One of my fav classes to watch ! I also love e-p and PARk!!!!!
still able to canter all day through hot sand with no water. The forbears of our modern Thoroughbred. The godolphin, the byerly and the Darley arabians. Wear their lines around their neck. Dished face, yes, ankles smaller than mine, yes. Tougher than titanium, better believe it!!!!
That gray is gorgeous and he knows it!! I don't fancy taking care of that tail though. Must be a lot of work to keep it that long and beautiful.
I like the first bay and the chestnut the best. And... those tails! Can you imagine trying to keep them as clean and shiny as they are?
absolutely love that grey in the beginning! Fantastic!
I love to put on Kashmir by Led Zeppelin and watch this video, gives me cold chills! Love the way these horses move, their spirit.
they really love the arena and to show out.
Apaladin...you know you are the most beautiful, stop looking at your tail like this you are breaking my heart, the line between this creatures and perfection is them being eternal, thanks God for delivering this beauty to earth.
That first horse is having the time of his life!
my mare is an arabian , and she has super sass , and she KNOWS shes beautiful lol , she shows off all the time ! mostly in front of cameras and people .
Arabians are the most beautiful breed in my opinion. They are so magestic!
A FLASHY SHOW FUN TO WATCH
0:59
Damn! Look at that tail!
Wow I really enjoyed watching this Thanks!
Arabians do that out of excitement and they live to entertain. My horse adores crowds and puts on such a show. The only one that looked a bit spooky to me was the chestnut, the rest were running around having a woohoo at all the excitement.
i think the first and last ones look VERY elegant and very pretty
Beautiful horse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree, Ponyhorse9! I have owned and still own different breeds of horses but my Arabian is just the most beautiful of all, even at 26 years old!
I have a gray arab but he is no where close to that! That was amazing!
While Arabians aren't "my" breed, I absolutely LOVE this video. . .exquisite animals!!
are these horses naturally so bold? this is amazing. I've never seen this in my life!! How majestic. They have shows like this in Scottsdale every year? If so, how do I get tickets?
It`s so cute the way they show off :)
Absolutely beautiful. Arabs are my favorite breed.
Beautiful, looks like my grey Arabian, he is out of BQ Rendevous daughter of Bey Shah, sired by Magnum Psyche
Wow Magnum Psyche is amazing stock!
Gorgeous horses!
Wow what a beauty !
That chestnut is beautiful.
Hope the first gray horse was the winner -- he really seemed to be showing off and giving his best moves.
it proves their athleticism and how well their bodies are structered
kaunein eläin maailmassa ! (thats many times in englis there ;) sooo beautiful)
@saskun12 i've seen a couple liberty shows...they basically just run around and show what they want to! it's awesome to see live.
Omg , I love that horse ! I Want to Show Her ! Haha
I like how the chestnut was all like: Woah! Where'd That come from? (when faced with the judge's stand) and then the second time was all like: Whoops... wrong turn. The grey was stunning, and the bay was alright.
He did win, hes a beautiful boy, i know his trainers & they did a great job with him
Outstanding!

Does anyone know who the bay is? I always am in awe of Apaladin+. It's not very often that a horse can excell in Halter, under saddle, and at Liberty to the extent that he has. Bravo!!!
I love the chestnut but I have a feeling the gray one had a higher placing
Would love to know who won!
