Our husky Nikita, had seizures once a week or so. The vet encouraged us to have her fixed and believed that it would lessen afterwards. Sadly the effect was the opposite, her seizures grew worse post surgery. We counted 16 in one day. She would barely have recovered from one before falling to another, and another, and another. It was heart wrenching. After a chain of them, she would be very disoriented and growl, and snap at anyone near her as if she had no idea where she was or who anyone was) Meds worked temporarily but the vets were baffled. :(

Our husky has same type seizure
One after another our vet suggested phenobarbital and gabapentin tablets and it worked her seizure has stopped but now she had partial brain process like your dog due to meds

I would try giving her a teaspoon of corn syrup. Make sure she isn't too hot or too cold (since she's a husky i would recommend keeping her in a colder environment, at most 60-70 degrees) If it twitching starts, rock her like a baby and get her comfortable. Make sure her head, legs, and torso aren't hitting anything hard. I know I'm very, very late but hopefully this helps.

hope your dog is doing better? our dog just started having seizures too and he's almost 6 yrs old, it's awful and heartbreaking to watch, and stressful to live with as well, you never know when the next one is comming, my dog had one recently next to a wooden garden bed and as he was convulsing he nocked his head on the garden bed pretty hard, I got to him in time to hold his head away, but wow is it sad to watch and hope they come out of it fast....I hope you're alright and the seizures are under control now.

I just show the video. Too pity didn't see it sooner. My Colley dog suffered from seizures for 12 years. Died some months ago because she was old. The medicine for seizures is phenobarbital morning and night and between a supplement with potassium bromide. Please let us know if the dog is doing better. Hope the information helped. I love all the dogs and I miss mine so much.

I think Reiki would be profound here. Animals adore it, and respond well to it.
I once treated a cat that had had a heart attack and which had paralysed back legs and been given one week to live before they were going to put it down. It was dragging its legs across the ground, was in some considerable pain, and had the look of death in its eyes. I have never seen an animal so close to dying before.
I suggested the Reiki as it has the ability to help the cat have an easier death, as in less painful, and also that it might have the opposite effect of reviving the cat. She listened intently, and agreed to it. We turned the lights down low, put on some gentle music, lit a candle, sprayed some rose oil in a burner to reduce the cat's stress, and put the cat in ts cage, on a soft blanket, on the kitchen table. Is at quietly, applying Reiki, while the cat squeezed itself ever closer to me, pushing its spine (the injury site) right up against the cage where I was holding the palms of my hands toward it. It seemed to be unable to get close enough, pushing its fur through the metal of the cage. Cats love Reiki.
After one session, I instructed the owner to leave it to sleep quietly until the morning, and then I waited and heard nothing from the owner so assumed the cat had been put to sleep. I expected to speak to the owner in a few days, after she felt perhaps able to speak about it.
After about a week and to my utter delight I saw the cat jump up onto the wall at the foot of her garden, walk along the wall into ours, jump down and move stealthily towards the front part of our garden and disappear. Its owner confirmed it had entirely recovered. To the best of my knowledge, it is still alive and healthy.
Reiki can help tissues to repair. Keep an open mind. Let the animal's body decide how it will use the energy of Reiki. You may be surprised.
Note: do not take the dog for Reiki if it is on beta-blockers, any kind of electrical device fitted anywhere, or is diabetic. If the Reiki practitioner does NOT ask these questions beforehand, you MUST walk out and do this with absolute conviction. Such a lack of medical questions indicates that the practitioner has a very poor understanding of how profound Reiki can be and of how it can negatively impact certain conditions. It is basically the mark of poor training, and you would be surprised how many practitioners just don't bother to ask these critical questions. (I am a Reiki Master).

so far no more seizures, I will gradually add. Brown rice to her chicken, little at a time then carrots little at a time spinach, little at a time. to make sure. she can handle it.. I also. mix corn meal and water. and fry it in bacon grease , add a little bit of butter on top and bake her some biscuits so far no more seizures.. and seems to be feeling much better.. I'm keeping a good watch on her..
make sure she. good for what I feed her. she started having seizures after I started giving beneful, grain free dog food.
no more dog food of any kind for Katie. there's Been. too many reports. of dog foods ,, making dogs sick or killing them.. I don't want to lose my sweetie,,

Dee Bess some commercial dog foods may contain added additives that are harmful to dogs. Did you do a research on that by looking at the ingredients listed? You can get some help from your vet in searching for the right dog food that doesn’t contain any of these suspicious ingredients. I know that there are some good and bad companies that produce dog foods. For example I’d stay away from Purina .
