  • During my stay in this new land, Kazakhstan would become my favorite country in the world outside of Japan. On my second day in Almaty, I was already seeing signs of all the beauty that was awaiting me.

Nice video though, just found out about you today. It really surreal that Kazakhstan is known for something outside of "Borat" movie

I heard that you will go to the Shymkent, I recommend to try there the local drink called "Kvas", it is fermented bread water, but in Shymkent it is a best one))) Welcome to Kazakhstan!

Ay yo I am from Shymkent, it's My Birthplace and it's a Beautiful City and being the 3rd Largest City in Kazakhstan 🇰🇿, having a Population of over around 1 Million People and yes it's also the Fastest Growing City.

4:02 that's my home xD Yeah, the Almaly district is the heart of the city, some big main streets, yet chill, cozy, lots of greens and quiet on the inside. If you want an even calmer environment within the city, you should definitely go to the newly renovated Botanical garden. Mountain hiking is also a cool option, many spots and routes to follow along: the Shymbulak valley, the Talgar river valley, the Big Almaty Lake valley; all within an hour ride. Almaty is a city for those who love to have a relatively relaxed megalopolitan life with a variety of foods and hobbies to choose from

You kind of remind me of a mix between Bald and Bankrupted and David Choe. Like the way you can pick out these little interesting moments in an otherwise mundane activity is fascinating.

@@keikeikeiland I’ve only been there once but beautiful city and scenery, unfortunately can be quite expensive! Note some parts of the city are nicer than others. One warning is the largest homeless population in Canada located there can be extremely persistent when pan handling, also can be agressive if they don’t get what they want.

Damn bro, I'm kazakh as you but I feel Spanish shame seeing such comments. you are apparently not very quick-witted, but he learned Russian long before he came here. I also believe that even in this country more than half of the population choose Russian. so promote your fascist slogans somewhere else. I think that in Russia you will find more supporters of fascism. to be a fan of your nation is the first stage in the formation of fascism, and you also force foreigners to learn the language, even though you understand Russian. it is not right. I am Kazakh, but I do not think that someone can offend someone by speaking Russian. and if someone thinks so, then this is fascism

I am Kazakh, but I know Russian, but some Kazakhs want everyone to be forced to speak Kazakh, although there are 2 official languages in the country: Kazakh and Russian. but such goats as the commentator above, who indicate to whom, how and in what language to speak, - spread national strife.

@@Divalo Kazakhstan is a multinational and multicultural secular country with a constitutional system of government. if people want everyone to speak Kazakh, then Kazakhstan will have to give up more than 8 million people who know only Russian. among other things, according to the constitution, we have two languages, Russian and Kazakh, but some people tell others what language someone should speak, thereby infringing on the rights of these people. they just live in the last century and do not understand what a constitutional form of government is, and if such Nazis knew what a constitutional form of government is, they would initiate a law on 1 language in the country and would hold a vote that they would never win, since they would vote everyone can. I think that his point of view is a big problem of our country... It is very sad for me

You fell in love with Kazakhstan?? oh boy...old communist mentality remained deeply rooted in the system there, no civil rights, no human rights, very low wages, even lower pensions though, prices in any field of the market that go up every day unannounced, a total insecurity for the future of the youth, corruption every where from the top to the bottom and vice versa, very low medical system, an infrastructure that leaves much to be desired and so on...in principle, the same thing it concerns all the so-called former states behind the iron curtain, with the exception of two or three of them. Kid, you have to grow up to really understand what an economic and social system of a country means. There´s not just some streets with holes and graffiti, or a gang of gypsy kids who made badly jokes , making jests...think about it!
