C Pfeiffer was like the face of 9/11 for me. How that man managed to take command and keep control that horrific day was incredible. To still be giving service over 20 years later despite all the trauma of that day when he also lost his brother shows just how special many of these brave men and women are.
I enjoyed seeing the smile on the chief's face while the probationary firefighter was answering questions, and switched to Spanish. The kid hit a home run today. FDNY should be proud of him and the rest of the firefighters that did an excellent job in a very tough situation. So sad that people were hurt and one passed away. But they did what they could- you can't save everyone, unfortunately.

He's showing support for one his most important emergency service departments. And I'm not a big fan of Adams or Kavanagh so take that for what it's worth.

Incredible job FDNY...it is great seeing actual experienced chiefs doing press releases instead of Kavanaugh trying to be the head honcho! Fantastic job FDNY....and to the Proby for the job he and his partner (and others) that performed flawlessly! I like what the Proby stated train, train, train like it is the real thing for when it happens you're ready!
