Because it helps A LOT with my family research here in Brazil. With this organized way you can see far better witch document is missing and it's all there in one paper. So right now I'm very happy using some of your great ideas to solve every mystery. And I did a lot of improvement in my research. Maybe one day I can do exactly as you teach here. Great video! I am still trying to get my photos and papers organized. I have a lot of photos from the 1800's to the present. Do you have any recommendations on how to organize them? I am thinking of putting them in photo page protectors in binders. I had thought of scrapbooks but I have so much stuff that I am not sure what to do. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

I use them to get the basic information for each person. It is easier for me to pull the information out write it down, so I do not have to keep going back to the smaller sometimes more difficult to read document. It helps me to know what information is on each document.

Hi Janet, If you click the login and use your Family Search login it will bring up free charts. This was recorded some time ago, so things have changed a little bit.
@@didimiller8216 Great way to organize your files! The charts are no longer free or I cannot find them. I have reunion which does fan charts but it is a lot of work color coding the generations, but it is FREE!
I enjoyed your video, all beginners need to do this, and that way they can go back and catch errors and actual verified information.
