You just been BAPTIZED my brotha! Welcome to the incredible sounds of thee GOAT Rock Band ever with NO EQUAL! These guys are the pinnacle of the Rock hierarchy. Enjoy the deep rabbit hole your about to experience.
Pink Floyd is better
Thanks to you I don't even have to comment you just said it all
@@electricgamer9815 nope
@@henryfuller69 tell me how im wrong. of course Led Zeppelin is awesome but pinnacle of Rock? the guys were only around what 11, 12 years?
@Electric Gamer 98 That's you're opinion, it's wrong but it's yours.
Led Zeppelin’s” When the levee breaks!!! “Great song originally written in the 20’s. A Bluesy masterpiece !!
ZEPPELIN IS THE G.O.A.T!
Arguably the greatest band ever. Four master musicians who came together and created an irresistible package. They set the bar so high that few if any could match
This rabbit hole runs deep. I'd suggest starting at the beginning, Album 1, side 1, track 1 "Good Times Bad Times". A few days ago on January the 12th was the 54th Anniversary of the release of their 1st Album.
Zeppelin has a lot of variety, I recommend “No Quarter”, “The Battle of Evermore”, and “Since I’ve Been Loving You”
Led Zeppelin - Kashmir- Going to California and of course STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN ....Can't wait to see your reaction.
Start with the first Zeppelin album ! "How many more times" is a great song!!
There are no BAD Zepplin albums. Keep in mind, we only had John Bonham for 12 years ------ and it was over 😭💔
Now "Stairway To Heaven" (considered the best rock song ever)
•"Rock and Roll"
•"Dazed and Confused"
•"Babe I'm Gonna Leave You"
•"Since I've Been Loving You"
•"I Can't Quit You Baby"
•"Ramble On"
•"Black Dog"
•"Immigrant Song"
•"Kashmir"
•"When The Levee Breaks"
•"What Is And What Should Never Be"
TOO MANT TO LIST OFF lol
For a zeppelin monster, you'll need a strong hit off of Dazed and Confused, followed by a rinse with Achilles Last Stand.
Led Zep 1
Led Zep 2
Led Zep 3
Led Zep 4
Houses of The Holy
Physical Graffiti
Presence
Ya this works. They are the GOAT though.
rock And Roll, Black dog, Misty Mountain Hop, Stairway To Heaven, Over the Hills and Far Away, Ramble On-and the list goes on and on and on...
What always blows me away is the context of the first couple Zeppelin albums. NOTHING sounded like that. I can't even imagine what it must have been like opening that album and putting it on the turntable for the first time when it originally came out. Mindblowing. Only thing that was even similar before Zeppelin I was _maybe_ Helter Skelter by the Beatles. Also, John Bonham is the best rock drummer who ever lived.
For over 50 years I've been listening to this jam and have never been able to exact a description for it - but thanks to you, now I've got one -"absolutely filthy!" You nailed it!
Now Frank......:) be honest, it's been filthy from the start (well over 50years ) LOL Peace and Love
With the Rolling Stones it was, "Mothers, hide your daughters!" With Led Zeppelin, it was "Too late."
Good way to do Zepplin is to start from the beginning and throw in some live preformances along the way or in between albums...you won't be disappointed!
Zeppelin is my favorite band, and the greatest rock band of all time. A couple of singles to hit.
1) Ramble On
2) When the Levee Breaks
3) Dazed and Confused
4) Black Dog
5) Stairway to Heaven
Albums, listen to 1-4, then go from there. Good luck, have fun, rock on.
Ah, Led Zeppelin. The most versatile, and best, rock band in history and, yep, they definitely had their own "zest". Lots of great bands out there but none were able to capture their magic. Because they were so versatile and their discography so diverse, they really can't be pigeon-holed as having any one particular sound other than their own.
So many of their songs were stellar so it's difficult to come up with a recommendation list. It would be about a mile long. I'd say start with album 1 track 1 and just keep going if you really want to learn what they were all about. You'll discover your own favorites along the way, songs that will "speak" to you but weren't necessarily recommended by anyone.
If you do studio cuts on a first listen, which I recommend because Page was a genius producer, then a live performance of any song in particular that you like (if you can find decent video, not all are equal), that would be cool. Most of their live performances were fire and really shouldn't be missed.
Very nice reaction, thanks, and I appreciated that you took a bit of time to research the group. Looking forward to more Zeppelin reactions.
Love these guys for 50 yrs never get tired of listening to them
me too
You have been successfully Led-poisoned. Welcome to the group ✌️
You actually seem genuine about never hearing this music before. Some reactioners seem like they are playing it up some. Good stuff, man
Zepplin has too many great songs to suggest 😆
I think you will like this band a lot. They have a huge verity. Songs for every mood one is in!! I wish you lots of fun exploring them. Greetings from Berlin, Germany 😎
Led Zeppelin II, Physical Graffiti are amazing. If you want the visuals, Song Remains The Same is really cool. As for single tracks, Dazed and Confuzed, In My Time of Dying, Since I've Been Loving You.
Robert Plant's voice was meant for Rock. Please react Led Zep's live version of STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN
What album do you start with? Why, the first one of course! The first song off their first album is called Good Times Bad Times. Keep in mind, they don't have video for every song but Zeppelin will be a journey regardless.
Zeppelin has a lot of hits. Stairway to Heaven is 1of their best songs ever. It’s a long song but legendary
Zeppelin didn't really have all that many hits, as they didn't believe in them and rarely released tracks as 'singles.' If it's not a single it can't get in the singles charts and be a hit. Having said that, the recordings by the greatest rock band of all time are exceptionally well known by those who revere this genre, and their style followed (and often poorly copied) by Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and so many other copy-cats who came after them. All four of these guys were real musicians.
@@andyallan2909 👏👏👏👏
@@andyallan2909 Led Zeppelin never released any singles, only albums.
I am so happy for you. What a world you have ahead of you. Any LZ song will be the next right step on your trip. Just don’t stop.
Start with the first song on the first album, Good Times Bad Times from Led Zeppelin I, then the following songs in order until you get to the last song on the last album, I'm Gonna Crawl from In Through the Out Door, it will be one helluva ride that you'll thoroughly enjoy :)
The awesome LED ZEP!!!! Just next level diversity musicianship and creativity.
I can't wait start at the beginning. There all great
Try Kashmir live from "Celebration Day" Jason does his old man proud on the drums. It is amazing how good three 70+ year olds and a 50 somthing son of the greatest drumer ever sound with no autotune bullshit. Did I mention they are Gods?
I'd second this suggestion. As a 'historical record' the whole of the 'Celebration Day' concert is absolutely the best. It's recent enough for excellent video and excellent sound, but add to that a performance that is out of this world - You could play anything from this concert and it'll smash your pre-conceptions.
Led zepplin, Denmark radio 1969. Trust me.
Pink Floyd is a genre all to themselves . Led Zeppelin is the best rock band ever . "ten years gone" must be on your list of theirs to do . we'll make a "Zep Head" out of you in time
When Giant's Walked the Earth ~ Led Zeppelin
You are definitely feeling the vibe! Make’s me happy to see young guys appreciate this music!❤💪🏻
Oooohhhhh my my my… yeah that’s why us 60’s and 70’s kids are with it…. Zeppelin forever man. They were bad…. So good. No one else like them. Plants voice….
The song "Since I've Been Loving You" off of the album Led Zeppelin III. Stick with the studio tracks like you did with this one. All studio tracks were produced by Jimmy Page, the bands founder and guitarist, and are some of the greatest achievements in audio recording history. I subscribed.
Peace
Led Zeppelin is a great album , Houses of the Holy and Led Zeppelin 3 are great too.
OMG Dude! You should spend time exploring THIS band. This is a zero contest: Led Zepplin is the best band. I’m 63 and have continued watching music, still keep up with everything. Nothing compares to this talented band. I could recommend something but I don’t know where to begin. Though they are from England, their blues are second to none. That’s one reason why people here went crazy over them when they first came out. So for blues, check out their first blues song “You Shook Me” from their first album. Then, listen to their dozens of other mind-blowing songs.
They were the best rock band in the 70ès & had their own jet plane travelling to concerts !
Greatest band to ever grace the planet! Watch their live performances!! Killer!! They have a diverse music discography...like no other!
Thumbs up to this and the journey you set forth upon the path that Led Zeppelin is about to guide you through.
Especially all the 1973 Madison Square Garden live videos are mindblowing!
I saw Led Zeppelin in concert in 1969 and 1970. I would recommend live versions of “Dazed and Confused” and “Stairway to Heaven”
Disc one, song one. You should follow their progression.
You need to watch their Live Concerts! Never will there be another group like Zeppelin again!
I Can't Quit You and You Shook Me!! Get ready to be amazed!!!
The first song from their debut album is the best place to start.
The album Physical Graffiti is probably my pick for Led Zeppelin...mainly due to the flawless masterpiece 'Kashmir'
Awe man! Wish you had done the live version from the Madison Square Garden concert ! Time for you to experience Zeppelin live ! Try Stairway to Heaven from the Madison Square Garden concert next !
Great reaction, Jay! Welcome to the Zeppelin rabbit hole. I suggest starting with their first album (Led Zeppelin). Personally, I love Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, but pick any one... their all fire. My favorite band is Pink Floyd, but I feel Led Zeppelin was the GOAT. Such a huge catalog in a relatively short period of time, and not a bad song to be found.
Welcome to the rabbit hole! Glad you're doing albums! Greatest band of all time in my book and incredibly diverse. Master musicians all. Jimmy Page produced all of their albums - fantastic sound. Some of their riffs are among the most sampled ever. (Immigrant Song, When the Levee Breaks, Kashmir)
Again like Pink Floyd, pure magic& I’ve been with them for over 50 yrs, cannot believe it!!! God were we blessed to grow up with this ❤
One of the greatest stereo mixes of all time!
Best Band Ever!! THE ZEPPELIN!
Greatest rock band ever👍
I feel like we got a whole lotta love from Led Zeppelin just now right
Welcome to the party. Rock n roll Gods right here.🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️✅
"Stairway to Heaven" is the number one classic rock song on some top 100 charts.
Yep. Chills. Another fine reaction. You have a facility for this, young man.
When i was 12 this was the first song to give me goosebumps 😊 xxx
Welcome to the zeppelin rabbit hole. They are the greatest band ever. You might as well start with zep 1 and go all the way through.
No getting out of this rabbit hole...best band ever
Let me be another voice recommending that you start at first album and go in order. The first six albums are masterpieces. I’m looking forward to your reactions. Spark up!!!
Welcome to the world of Zeppelin!
You have no idea, ohh you gotta check out the
Classic video we are lucky to have. Stairway to heaven.
Had to have to remind
The old man of Nanna was around that should not be on the play list!!!!
Cheers
Anything zeppelin lol like for real
Check out their live stuff! It's whole other experience!
Yeah man you are standing at the edge of the rabbit hole! keep going.
They have a huge catalog of killer music! Ok since I grew up with these guys as the sound track to my life I have some recommendations. Listen to Dazed and confused live from Madison Square garden in 1973. It is from the movie song remains the same. It is long but you will be able to see them live and it is so cool to watch these guys play together. And they haver a video called the immigrant song LIVE. They jam so good in this song its amazing. peace to you
Dazed and Confused from first album is great. 72 year old white lady-I was 18 when I got their 8 track tape . Great reaction.
c
Wow dude you've got a huge back catalogue to work through. 2 more for you "cashmere" ( my favourite) and " Stairway to heaven"
Need to do STAIE WAY TO HEAVEN BLACK DOG and RAMBLE ON and OVER THE HILLS FAR AWAY by Led Zepplin !!
Subscribed to your Zeppelin Ride!!
Led Zepplin 1----Dazed and Confused--------for sure
First time listener … love the reaction… please check out Black Dog or one of my favs Dazed and Confused
I love their song Big Log 🎶 ❤️
it's a solid branch to have pulled yourself onto man. i'm a huge fan of Tool and of early Verve, their albums 'Aenima' and 'A Storm in Heaven' are my favourite 'rock' albums of all time and the two bands could arguably be the next fork along this branch, with Tool taking on the heavier elements of Zeppelin, and Verve glorifying the kind of psychedelia evident in the breakdown section here. Hendrix and Zeppelin picked up the bar, added a shedload more weights to it and lifted it as high as it had ever been, and Tool have been running with it for a good while now. peace..
The first and only super band. The best way to do it is to do the Zepathon. Start with album one and work your way through all of them. You'll be a Led Head before you're finished. I highly recommend listening to Stairway To Heaven MSG and then watch Heart do the song at Led Zeppelins Honors at the Kennedy Center.
Stairway to heaven by led zeppelin you'll love it.
The Lemon Song
Get The Lemon Song. One of Led Zeppelins best. GREATEST BAND EVER.
When the Levee Breaks, and Since I’ve Been Loving You are a must listen . I would start with the studio versions first. Their concert at MSG is fantastic.
I would say their biggest musical influence is the blues. Their music covers many genres but I would say the blues threads through and dominates a lot of their songs.
Do it right man, start at the beginning and go track by track, album by album. This is the only band I recommend it for as every song is a masterpiece. They have no style and every style, they are simply the mighty Led Zeppelin.
Most diverse collection of brilliant songs by any rock band.
Today's fun fact.
Yeah! You got the crazy chills. I'm still getting them after all this time .FILTHY!!
Just start at the beginning and go album front to back. Experience them, like we did. 🥰
So much great music; so little time
One of a kind
Start with Led Zeppelin 1, every song is awesome.
Dazed and confused, Since I've been loving you, The Rain song are recommend.
Please do more Zepplin you won't be disappointed
No other band has or will ever perch on that branch
You should check out their "In My Time of Dying."
Start with the 1st album and make your way through them all. Find some of there live stuff! Greatest Rock Band Of All Times!
Kashmir is just gonna blow this guys mind lol
We use to say …..”get the led out”.
Welcome to the world of Led Zeppelin. I suggest you do album reviews and do at least the first 5 studio albums. The 6th, 7th, and 8th albums are good too, but the first 5 are my favorites. Be ready to be surprised by how talented and diverse this band is. After you have heard "Stairway to Heaven" from their 4th album, you should find the video from the Kennedy Center Honors of 2012 where Led Zeppelin is honored and "Stairway to Heaven" is covered by Ann and Nancy Wilson from the band Heart. Look for the one with at least 34 million views. The original drummer for Led Zeppelin, John Bonham, is replaced by his son, Jason, and he kills it! His dad would be proud!
Then you need to check out the live video of "Kashmir" from their 2007 Celebration Day concert held at London's O2 Arena. It has over 130 million views! Again, Jason Bonham fills in for his late father at drums. These guys sounded better than ever, even at their age. Enjoy.
Great review. Aren’t they awesome!?!! I just subscribed 😊
I have a difficult time relating to somebody saying " first time hearing Led Zeppelin" , considering my first time was 50 years ago.
There are the big four Metal/Rock bands from the early 70s: Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and Uriah Heep
Greatest Rock Band Ever!! I am a Maiden fan first but these guys, ALL of them are GODs!
Kashmir, in my opion is their greatest song and Physical Graffiti their greatest album (double album - so cheated a bit there).
I once called the band Lord Zeppelin because of their godlike qualities.
Start with thr 1st song of their 1dt album & continue through their catolog
