This brother is right. His brother believes in the pastor and not God. No where in the Bible says that a believer should cut off his/her family once he/ she becomes a Christian. If you quietly pull ib tug niam tsev aside and explain why you can't eat the food, I'm sure she will be more than happy to find you something to eat! As a Christian myself, I've attended many non Christian family functions. They all know my family and I are Christians so they make sure to prepare food that has not been offered to the ancestors for us. Be respectful!!! That's all they ask!!

Sad to say that there are these kind of people on both side of religion. it’s not the religion but the individual that represents each belief. Making others misunderstand it. All religions teaches us to be good and help each other to reach salvation. This person didn’t get the meaning and reap what he sowed.

We are filthy sinners in need of a savior (Jesus Christ). Only he can cleanse us of our sins so when we stand to be judged, God see Jesus in our place. Jesus died on the cross where you and I should had been.
No one find salvation. The only salvation is through Christ Jesus. He said "I am the way, the truth. No one goes to the Father (God) except through me. He also said those who choose to follow me will be hated and persecuted but he who endures to the end will recieved everlasting life in Him.

Yet at the end when no one shows up to help them bc they never helped anyone, they always come back to the immediate family for help. It's ok if u want to live your life separately and differently from your families, but don't disregard them and don't act like you're better than them. If u think u can survive without families then do so and never come back to ask for any help.

They all sound very immature and petty all due to their own beliefs. They need to grow up, be open minded. Never speak ill or compare one’s religion as long as it’s for the better. Most importantly always be kind and respectful. Religious/beliefs/practices aren’t supposed to be there to break the bonds between families if it does than it’s the humans that needs to fix theirselves and their mindset.
Red flags. This church sounds iffy. The “Christian” couples actions sounds iffy. This story is told by someone who isn’t a Christian so how would they understand what a Christian even is. These ads are getting ridiculous. At least mekas ppl, they know if their ads are longer they will lose their audience's attention so they make it short wit the option to skip. But some hmong youtubers are selfish. They don't care about their audience so they keep the ads for as many as they could fit in.

My husband's family is Christian but my husband doesnt go to church only his parents does. My mil been trying to get us to go to her church and we were considering it till one day thier church had some kind of event and my mil invited us. We went and oh boy all the niam tsev loves to gossip and judge other people. There was one niam tsev said shamanism was a made up religion and all the niam tsev were laughing and agree with her. That turned me off. So we did not ho to that church.
