Check out cortech screws you can get them at big box stores. there self counter sinking and have trim plugs to cover the screw heads I have used them on my pvc trim on the house.
Thank you This is an interesting idea I have never heard of. But it appears they don’t come in >1” length. In addition the plug would be questionable at such a short depth and would still need epoxy for later sanding. This idea deserves some more research as I think you might be onto something…thanks again
Hey brother, where do you get your celtec from? I'm restoring a 1968 Hatteras 34, I have nidacore and divynicell, but I'd like to try using pvc foam. SFMF lol
Danny you need to find a local plastics distributor like Total Plastics Inc (TPI) or US Plastics, Piedmont etc. or find a local sign maker who gets raw material for sign making
Bravo ! 1000 + You deserve it. Thanks for sharing your experience.

To install the cheater blocks, you just use thick epoxy? The concern would be that it moves around before the epoxy sets up.
Coosa Board is light weight and generally stays in place. For larger pieces use temporary duct tape or screws
