  • A short trip around the block, through the park, which is pretty uneven as you can see from the video, good show of suspension travel.

is it possible for you to make a video on how you did the suspension design and the steering? i am unsure on how to build my trike with front suspension and this is one of the better looking designs i have found on TH-cam so far. thanks!

looks very good and solid. The Frame is aluminum? How many KG. is total weight? Are planning to share any detail about size or plan? I am trying to put something together. Instead of making all mistakes the first builders does I want to use your experince to decrease my possible mistakes. sincerely.

Please message me if you are interested in a kit form of this trike, it would require Aluminum TIG skills as well as bike and basic assembly skills

can you tell me which type of suspension system is this?

its a perversion of double wishbone, you can recognize the "A" arm like struts, the sharp angle of the spring and shock combo are there to enable a compact package and also to allow the arms to fold straight down for packing it up.

Very nice trike but I could never get used to the chain noise. That ruins the experience for me. is there a fix for that? And do all the cat trikes do that?

most of the noise is because the go pro is clamped to a solid frame, and the noise comes from a Patterson front dual speed crank, which has a planetary gear setup not unlike integrated rear gear hubs.

This is a tadpole trike, with 6" front and rear suspension and folding features, its a prototype so don't mind the crude finish, its not polished or anodize, but fully aluminum and built more like an off road vehicle then many of the lighter weight short travel suspension recumbents you'll find on the market.
