Compliments to Chris for multitasking like a pro. Managing the cameras, checking in on the chat and partially playing the game. Seems like a great addition to the Shut Up crew. How are his reviewing skills?
I could be wrong, but it sounded like he has been with the crew for at least a bit, and this was just his first time on camera. But yes, fantastic multitasking job by him.

As a fan of the original Videogamer.com crew, its a blast to see Matt and Chris reunited.
Quinns, you got the village dice reduction all wrong. Infantry fires into villages with -1 die. Armor fires out of villages with -2 dice! Your last roll should have been one die, not three!
Of course, you could have moved the tanks out to get the full 3 dice, and move the infantry into the town to keep the town medal, so the outcome is more or less the same.
I'm pretty sure that the -2 tank symbol means tanks roll 2 less dice when ATTACKING into towns, not when being ATTACKED. So in that final fight over the city twitch could have rolled two dice (since ground forces only have a -1 penalty). One of the primary ways to deal with tanks is hiding in towns, tanks have a hard time dealing with that.
Yeah, Quinns has made a bunch of mistakes in the game. At some point, he started using infantry firing rules on tanks, and then everybody proceeded to throwing their tanks in close combat, to 'max' their dice.
But since he did roll 2 dice, all it would've meant is 1 tank died. Quinns still would've won.
Twitch chat was very upset over this.

100% should have attacked the right flank with the final turn. 3 attacks to retake the town and survive for another day instead of trying to win basically a whole turn early. This game seems great.
Yep - sequenced correctly, it could have been a 1 die, 2 dice then 2 or 3 dice with a 1/3 chance of killing a tank on any die (grenade or tank face), so they may have taken a victory point for killing the tanks if they didn't drive them out

Those infographics refer to the attacking unit not the defending unit. So infantry would attack with -1 dice and armor would attack with -2.
You are right! They'd have had a second chance of rolling a flag.
Shut Up & Sit Down looking back at the footage it looks like he didn’t roll a flag (just a tank and a star) so it would have probably gone the same but still.
I know I am way late to this, but I just got the game and have been binging videos on it in my free time. The last 2 turns were not fair for twitch side. Although they initially rolled correctly and didn't get a flag so it probably doesn't matter. They do get 2 dice to shoot into a town. Infantry is minus 1 die and tanks are minus 2 to shoot into a town. Even bigger issue is next turn!! Tanks suck in a town. A tank is not nimble in towns with buildings and crap in the way. A tank firing from with in a town is ALSO MINUS 2 DICE! Not just firing into a town, but when they occupy a town, they are minus 2. It was a fun video, but such a bummer at the end.
Honestly this may have been my favourite sdsu vid in ages! Nice work. Lots of fun to watch and a great length.

I cannot believe that they went with Recon in force for the last turn instead of the attack option just to protect that last man. Should have gone with A13 - A11, B10 - A12 and A10 - B11. a very defensive move but then there are options for the next turn

Just got this game and I like it, but I have a hard time with the colors of the pieces. I don't know why in the world they did both sides so dark. They should have made the Germans a lighter gray. I actually tried to shoot my own units once because I have such a hard time differentiating the two. I think I may actually paint the pieces.

There was. It was used for deciding which card to play, but deciding specific unit moves was chaos. 😂

First video post-Paul... Great video but it's gonna take me a while to adjust to the idea.
For someone who claims to love this game Quinn's has let himself down. I had to reread the rules and check online to make sure I wasn't going mad. Infantry attacking tanks in the village get -2. I think not.

This should have been edited. Watching unedited twitch streams on youtube with audience interaction is almost always a nightmare.
Twitch needs to learn about probability and how dice work
The roles should clearly have been reversed, handicapping the strategy king with the hive mind is a cheap shot at a easy victory.

This game looks like you actualy not making any important decisions ... You just pick up card ( not seams hard to pick the logic one ) and then you just roll and roll , is that all ? Is that like 86% is luck and the rest is actually decision making?
Next time human opponents please. Just play Chris. This Twitch stuff is dumb and ruins the flow of the game.
