I covered a ton of these commanders this year, so if you want to see a full deck tech on them check the description! Thank you for watching and for your amazing support!
I'd love to see a Galadriel list, I've seen people try to build her elfball with maybe some blink subthemes or just instant speed token spam but I'd love to see your take on it.
Built a few of these both your deck list and a few of my own design: *Anikthea (yours) it's fun *Haakbal (mine) simple wide and tall. But I NEVER thought of clones... and I might just try it. *Master (mine) try to turbo him out with lots of rocks but some etb ping and aristocrats effects. *war doc/Susan (urs) it's feared. Debating on powering it down for a fair or going jeskai Blink. *etali (mine) secret Commander and I loot everyone's deck as it's a chain reaction that keeps going. But I'm looking at Sovereign and I think of my friend who wants to make a Hydra deck so I might pitch this.
Of these, I've built Calix, Ob Nixilis (conversion from Prosper), Anikthea (conversion from Myrkul), and Hakbal. Built Talion for cEDH. Etali is in the 99 of a bunch of my decks now. Thought about The Master, Multiplied, don't think I'll ever build it because it's too glass cannon-y imo and I don't like the decks that win if they get going once like the old Narset for example. Definitely looking into building Sauron and Galadriel(not so sure about this one), and then Atraxa for cEDH (even though I intended on building her as a blink commander for casual but this was before her cEDH fame). Heliod I want to build but not sure whether it is for casual or cEDH. The War Doctor is also very exciting!
My most powerful deck was the combo version of Shalai and Hallar. I had 10 different two card combos in the deck and 4 of them directly involved the commander. I liked the deck but ended up dismantling it because it wasn’t powerful enough to be cEDH (even though it would win on turn 5/6) but it was too OP for the casual table. So I went with more synergy focused decks that I could tune to be high powered but not cEDH. I run hakbul, ojer Kasleem, Hylda, wllivere and chatterfang now. Chatterfang, ellivere, and Hakbul are all high level magic (turn 5-7 win), Ojer Kasleem has won on turn four 1 time but usually turn 8/9 when he does win. It is a very glass canon deck that is very dependent on RNG. Hylda is a control deck that is very good at doing one thing. If she gets to do the thing the game is mine, if I lose her too many times then better luck next time.
As an atraxa enjoyer, she is as much a beat stick winner as a combo winner. I'll typically kill half to all of my opponents just by hitting them 3 times. You are very much underselling that aspect. Personally I don't really combo with her I just use good value creatures to set up a state I win from.
My most powerful deck I built this year would definitely be Rowan, but I’m building the Nazgul version of Sauron because of your inspiration… so that might end up being stronger. Either way I’m happy to have added some more ruthless play-style to my arsenal of decks. Also working on acquiring cards for a strong Aragorn, Hornburg Hero counters deck - obviously with Shalai/Hallar in the 99, which could possibly swap here and there for S’s and G’s. Anyways, just found your channel and been enjoying your offerings. Keep up the good work.
Amazing videos this year! Just a project idea like that: Make the same video for the years 2022, 2021, 2020 etc... And at the end, Best commander all time :)
My best deck so far is Falco Spara, but I got some great plans to build around in 2024 like a Group Hug Atraxa deck, Arcades Slivers, Calix/Sythis Enchantress, and an unusual Extus Oriq deck built around cards like Dark Depths and Westvale Abbey(basically "cult summoning Great Old Ones and demons" typal lmao)
My most resilient deck for the moment is Clavileño ! With a vampire dropped on turn 1 and/or turn 2, it makes a ton a value towards draw, tokens and sometimes Blood artists effects ! Moreover, reanimate our creatures with an Orzhov deck is so easy !
I like The War Doctor with Adric, Mathematic Genius. I usually load up counters with the Saga "Day of the Doctor" because my build has 0 other Legendary permanents to hit. He will get like 80+ counters and Adric can copy the damage trigger killing two people at once. Then, If I have the Eldraine enchantment Virtue of Courage out, I can exile my whole deck, find a few rocks and cast Thassa's Oracle to win the game. Bit slower, more consistent & allows me to run a suite of stax pieces to slow the game down.
Atraxa and Etali are awesome and my favorite decks, but i recently made a Carmen deck that's nasty and can 1 shot players, very nasty with Cataclysm and cards that do similar things
It was by far etali. It went infinite with temur sabertooth and dockside. It was so oppressive and it my playgroup absolutely groan when I pulled it out. For that reason it last a month before dismantling.
rowan scion of war is my most busted deck of the year, no combos just life loss, jeskas will type effects, untapping and retapping rowan, rituals and pay x spells. Always rule 0 this one as a turn 3-6 win and this is with the only tutor being gamble.
For Atraxa I built her Angel tribal and I've been getting bodied. Has some good games but not oppressive at all Heliod on the other hand, yeah if he flips I typically win
Will does not stack unless I misunderstood this, ''The value of X is determined only once, at the time Will, Scion of Peace's activated ability resolves.''
So if you tap Will, X is determined upon resolve. If you untap Will in the same turn, then tap him again, then let it resolve, then there is a second effect that is discounting generic mana. It does stack.

Also very interested in a Galadriel list!

Treebeard was my best deck this year. 0/5 that can take over very quickly. Plus treefolk/halfling tribal sub theme with LOTR lands 🔥🔥

My most powerful deck this year has been Brenard Ginger Sculptor with splicers and banquet guest to cheat it out big

I'd love to see your take on a cirdan the shipwright list

Yargle and Multani are my favorite Commander of the year, there's something about an 18/6 that has so many ways to clear the table
I like The War Doctor with Adric, Mathematic Genius. I usually load up counters with the Saga "Day of the Doctor" because my build has 0 other Legendary permanents to hit. In germany its like midnight
But i love watching vidios so late at night
Strongest deck I built this year was Orvar with all the cloning effects I could fit
Actually my latest brew of the Mycotyrant is one of my most powerful and resilient decks this year
I believe is that guys cracked!
I'm enjoying Hylda you basically get as many 4/4s as you have mana.
So what you're saying is Atraxa is casual? Lol I 100% agree with you.
I built a Naya exile deck full of hard locks, it's fun.
My most powerful deck of the year is Chulane teller of tales. T3-4 wins are basically a given.
Xyris, the writhing storm makes so many snakes and draws all the cards
Most powerful deck I built this year was tymna/kraum 😁
Could u see War Doctor as a Living End deck?
I built a sovereign deck, just dome people for 20 commander the turn after he hits the field
My most powerfull deck this year is definitly Etali, i builed it at a 100€ budget and i got banned from playing it in my group after 2 games lol
rowan scion of war is my most busted deck of the year, no combos just life loss, jeskas will type effects, untapping and retapping rowan, rituals and pay x spells. Always rule 0 this one as a turn 3-6 win and this is with the only tutor being gamble.
Anikthea has black as well which makes her better, having black is always better than not.
can confirm anikthea is busted, i had 32 copies of annointed procession on turn 6
For Atraxa I built her Angel tribal and I've been getting bodied. Has some good games but not oppressive at all
Heliod on the other hand, yeah if he flips I typically win
Atraxa is rediculous, i have gotten to play my build of her once and it was solitaire
I put Calix in my anikthea deck lol

Ellivere !!
NAHHHH YOU DID MY BOI DIRTY
YOU BETTER FIX THAT
Ggs and ETALI is number 1
You just put theme car commanders from the TV series on another franchise that is really lazy writing shortcut to put that in the pile
Are you speaking English?
